- David is an award winning director. In Honolulu, he was the founding Artistic Director of The Actors Group Theatre Company (TAG).
- David was the creator and director of the Hollygrove Children's Home Therapeutic Performing Arts program, in Los Angeles. Hollygrove, then known as the Los Angeles Orphans Home Society is famous for once housing Norma Jean Baker (Marilyn Monroe), when she was a child. Norma Jean Baker spent 21 months at the Los Angeles Orphans Home Society in 1935-36.
- David was featured in one of four commercials in Geico's "Unskippable" ad campaign, 'Elevator: Unskippable'. The campaign won industry accolades, a Cannes Lions Grand Prix in Film and was the Gunn Report's second most awarded digital campaign for 2015.
