Brad Garrett is not happy that his name was being used to promote a comedy show starring The Real Housewives of New Jersey personality Joe Gorga.
It turns out that everything was a scam and no show is taking place. A representative for Gorga tells Deadline, “It was coming from a fake Brad Garrett. Joe’s attorney was scammed. They even had signed contracts in place.”
Gorga’s representatives revealed that the Bravo star just found out about the scam today and “is very disappointed as he was looking forward to performing” in Vegas.
The rep for the reality star assures that “everyone who purchased tickets will be receiving their money back” and “Joe will not be doing a show in Las Vegas.”
The Everybody Loves Raymond alum had taken to Instagram to air his grievance at what he called a scam.

After 105 years as the Cleveland Indians, the MLB team unveiled a new name Friday, the Cleveland Guardians, to sighs of relief from fans ready to leave the culturally insensitive branding in the past - but mostly to “Guardians of the Galaxy” jokes.
The Ohio MLB team announced its name change in a slick new promotional video that featured narration from Tom Hanks and a score courtesy of the Black Keys. In addition to the name, the organization also introduced a new logo, a baseball flanked by a G with a pair of wings. The video's sincere tone was undercut by one big elephant in the room though. Actually, make that one big anthropomorphic tree.
