Adventure travel series Destination X has been officially picked up to series by NBC.
The show is expected to air on the network in 2025 and the U.S. version of the Belgian format will be produced by production company Twofour, which is also making a separate British version for the BBC.
The greenlight marks the latest stage for the format; last year, the BBC and NBCUniversal partnered to take the U.S and UK rights to the show, which comes from Belgian producer Geronimo and distributor Be-Entertainment.
The BBC greenlit its own version last year with Twofour producing.
NBC has now followed suit and officially ordered its own version; the show was previously only in development with the broadcast network.
It is a similar model employed on breakout mystery format The Traitors.
Destination X sees a group of contestants go on the road trip of a lifetime but they have no idea of their location.

Exclusive: Itvx has recommissioned its first reality show since launching late last year: hybrid format Loaded in Paradise.
The 10-parter from The Reluctant Traveller indie Twofour follows a group of couples who race around Greece with €50,000 following the show’s mantra: ‘Live your best life, just don’t get caught’. Season two will remain in Greece but with a new route and new set of luxurious locations.
ITV said the show achieved a healthy share of young viewers – more than one-third were aged between 16 and 34 – when it aired last year on ITV2. In the overnight ratings, it performed in line with fellow ITV2 formats such as Ready to Mingle, but is a far cry from matching the channel’s best performer, Love Island.
Nonetheless, Loaded in Paradise has become new streamer Itvx’s first reality recommission since launch, as ITV seeks to buttress the platform with high-volume content. Premiere date has not yet been set.

‘Race Across The World’ Commissioner David Brindley Quits The BBC To Join ITV Studios-Backed Twofour
Twofour Group has moved quickly to fill a creative hole opened up by the departures of Melanie Leach and Andrew Mackenzie by hiring BBC commissioner David Brindley as creative director.
Brindley has won admirers during his tenure as head of popular factual and factual entertainment at the BBC, and is responsible for commissioning hits including Studio Lambert’s Race Across The World and Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
Brindley joined the BBC in 2016 from Channel 4, where he spent three years as a commissioner. Prior to that, he worked at Twofour on documentaries such as Emmy-winning Educating Yorkshire, meaning his appointment is something of a reunion with his former employer.
Brindley is the most eye-catching hire in a management overhaul at ITV Studios-owned Twofour after Deadline exclusively revealed last month that Leach and Mackenzie were leaving to set up South Shore, another ITV-backed production venture.

The follow-up to Educating Yorkshire will be set in Walthamstow, Channel 4 has confirmed.
The hugely popular Educating series - previously focusing on Passmores Academy in Essex and Thornhill Community Academy in Yorkshire - will film at Frederick Bremer School in East London.
The school, which was only opened in 2008, has seen big improvements in teaching and student progress under the stewardship of headteacher Jenny Smith and her staff.
In a similar way to the previous two series, Educating Walthamstow will use fixed-rig cameras to follow students and staff during everyday life at Frederick Bremer School.
Channel 4's head of documentaries Nick Mirsky said that the series "shines a light on the tireless work which is carried out, unseen, day in, day out, by our public services with warmth and humour".
