Shambling zombies... what a pain in the ass they can be with all their slobbering and brain eating. They can really harsh your mellow. Thankfully writer/producer/director Wes Young has a new line of defense for us. He's bringing us the Dead Team.
Currently the film only has a teaser trailer as they are working on funding, but the concept is unique. Without a military presence, civilians are finding themselves overwhelmed by the zombie hordes (as you would imagine). But five people, the Dead Team, use their unique skills to vanquish the undead in unorthodox ways, as the trailer below will illustrate.
Ilea Matthews is slated to star in the film, and the other members of the cast are currently being assigned. Check out the Dead Team website, give 'em a like on the Dead Team Facebook page and follow @deadteammovie on Twitter. Thanks to Tipmaster General Avery G...

I conducted this interview a few years ago, only to see it soon disappear into the vast depths of the webisphere, long gone, or so I thought. A nice strike of luck, and Ive stumbled upon this gem (once more), which should certainly be read, just as Dead Exit should certainly be viewed: its a kick ass short! Please allow me to rewind time, and offer you Bidites an introduction to Wes Young, one cool chap with a fine knack for filmmaking, and a…...

Tucson and Phoenix: Prepare to be rocked, shocked and defiled. Blasting its way into its third — and biggest — year on Sept. 18-25, the Arizona Underground Film Festival is a cacophonous concoction of angry transsexuals, bumbling hit men, slacker superheroes, living dolls, aliens, dead hookers, adventure-seeking blondes and other crazies.
This year the fest is screening 30 feature films, some of which are making their U.S. and even world debuts. The opening night film is the U.S. premiere of the German hit man comedy Snowman’s Land, directed by Tomasz Thomson, while closing the fest is the controversial and violent A Serbian Film by Srdjan Spasojevic, which you have to be over-18 to get into.
Don’t worry, there’s plenty of homebrewed films as well, such as Dead Hooker in a Trunk by Jen Soska & Sylvia Soska; Nude Nuns With Big Guns by Joseph Guzman; 1,001 Ways to Enjoy the...

Greetings Fango Fiends! It's Psycho Bunny here, setlling in for another fright-filled Sunday night in the Fangoria Dungeon. Dr. Cyclops just stopped by with a stack of DVD's to check out, so while he's getting set up I figured it was time for another installment of my weekly wrap-up. For those unfamiliar, I take the past week of blood-drenched horror goodness, break it all down by section, and give it back to you in one streamlined list. You can catch up on anything you might've missed, and fill yourself with knowledge so you're ready to start the new week fresh! Ready, Freddy?

You know it’s going to be a fun ride when your film of choice launches with a small child being obliterated by a speeding car. Apparently writer/director Wes Young is as morbid as myself, and harbors some similar thoughts, because that’s exactly how Dead Exit gets started - with a grizzly splash that intentionally fails to subside throughout the course of the picture. I think the simple tag “Here We Go” would have fit this picture snug.
After a wonderfully senseless child murder, we are introduced to our three protagonists, two men, and a young girl - on the road, seeking shelter from a steadily increasing band of flesh eating ghouls. After running into some car problems (watch out for children - they’ll do more damage to your ride than you might expect!) the trio abandon their vehicle and head for a nearby building, which may...
