Using a Center for Engaged Learning grant while attending the Utah Valley University, he and a group of students set up free wireless Internet access across downtown Provo, Utah [2007-2008].

Added the 17th state championship to his family name after he joined his brothers in winning a state championship title in wrestling [2002].
