Channel 4 will examine the world of night buses in a new documentary.
The Night Bus will follow the drivers, support staff and passengers on public transport in London, using the fixed-rig technology behind shows like Educating and The Fried Chicken Shop.
The first bus getting the Channel 4 treatment is the N29, which runs from Enfield through Camden to Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square. The vehicle will have 16 cameras fitted before Christmas, while further routes will be filmed early next year.
"London is an incredible global hub - full of life, love and madness which our night buses slice through in the early hours of each day," said Channel 4's Emma Cooper.
"This series will show the people who call this place home, those who visit and those who make their money here - and will highlight the unlikely friendships and moments that all spring up on...

Channel 4 has commissioned a three-episode series based around a fried chicken shop.
The news comes after the huge success of one-off Cutting Edge documentary The Fried Chicken Shop: Life in a Day, which gave an insight into the running of the Rooster Spot in Clapham, London and was the most tweeted-about show in the week that it aired in February.
The three 60-minute programmes will be based in the same establishment and will feature some familiar faces from the documentary as well as new customer stories. In a change from the original format, the show will also follow take-away customers into their homes.
"Chicken Shop really captured the imagination of viewers," said Hannah Wyatt, Director of Programmes at Mentorn Media.
"The enthusiastic response on twitter showed the immediate support – including John Prescott, Boy George and Lily Allen all loving it. We saw that it really was a talking point...
