MTV has tweaked its scheduling plans for Total Request Live after announcing last month that it was planning to expand the franchise with daily morning and late night shows this summer.
Staring in June, the network was supposed to add an hourlong daily morning edition, titled Total Request A.M., which will be very music-driven with limited commercials and will feature musical performances, celebrity interviews and a music video countdown. The launch of the hourlong daily morning Trl edition, co-hosted by MTV News veteran Sway Calloway, has now been moved up to Monday, April 23.

MTV is expanding the revived version of Total Request Live (Trl) with daily late-night and morning shows this summer, an MTV spokesperson confirmed to Rolling Stone. The music video series – which re-launched in October after a nine-year absence – will return from hiatus on April 9th.

It's back. MTV has announced the return of its Total Request Live TV show franchise, with the title officially rendered as Trl. The series originally premiered in 1998 and ran until it was cancelled in 2008. The new season of Trl will premiere on Monday, October 2, 2017. D.C. The White House is once again teaming with MTV's parent company Viacom and the Get Schooled Foundation for the 2011 "Race to the Top Commencement Challenge," a competition among the nation's public high schools that aims to find the school that best prepares its students for college and beyond. And the winning school will get a graduation-day visit from President Obama himself.
"I'm looking for a school that understands the number one priority is making sure that our kids are learning what they need to succeed in this 21st century economy," President Obama said in a statement.
