She has an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in History from Tulane University.
Began her journalism career as a reporter for the Bucks County Courier Times - a suburban Philadelphia newspaper.
Before joining NBR, she worked as a reporter and editor for McGraw-Hill News, an electronic news service.
She has been with the New York bureau of Nightly Business Report (1979) since Februray 1990. In 1997, she was promoted to senior producer/reporter.
She is a great-great-granddaughter of Charles Pratt, a co-founder of Standard Oil Company and the founder of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
Her husband, Jonathan D. Davis, is a partner in the New York law firm of Littman, Krooks & Davis.
Daughter of Helen Pratt Pritzker and Roger Sherman Pratt. They are both architects in Philadelphia. Her stepfather, Eli Pritzer, is an owner of the Penn Electric Supply Group in Philadelphia.
