Director Elizabeth Banks’ “character-driven thriller” Cocaine Bear (read our review Here) already received a digital release a few weeks ago, but another digital release is coming up later this month – and this release is being called the Maximum Rampage Edition! The Maximum Rampage Edition will be available digitally on April 14th and will be reaching Blu-ray and DVD on April 18th. Physical media copies can be pre-ordered at This Link.
Cocaine Bear is based on true events that took place in Kentucky in 1985. As our own Kevin Fraser reported last year, the true story goes like this: “In 1985, convicted drug smuggler Andrew Thornton was on a smuggling run from Columbia and had dumped several packages full of cocaine before bailing from the plane himself. Unfortunately, he hit his head on the tail of the aircraft and wound up in a freefall to the ground where he was found dead in someone’s driveway.

Universal Pictures is giving director Elizabeth Banks’ “character-driven thriller” Cocaine Bear a theatrical release tomorrow, February 24th (you can read some early reactions Here), and some movie-goers are already hoping for a follow-up that would be called Cocaine Shark. It remains to be seen is there’s going to be a sequel at all, let alone one that would go aquatic, but during a conversation with Variety screenwriter Jimmy Warden (who happens to be married to genre icon Samara Weaving) confirmed that he has ideas for multiple sequels.
When asked if he has a sequel in mind, Warden replied, “Yeah, for sure. Not just a sequel. Many sequels. Cocaine Bear in Space is where we would probably end.“
When the interviewer said they couldn’t tell if he was kidding or not, Warden continued: “No, I’m f*cking with you about Cocaine Bear Goes to Space. But for the sequels,...

How many people can say that crashing a 747 into a building for the sake of their movie was more practical than using miniatures and CGI? As Kevin Fraser of Joblo might agree, there aren’t too many people out there that aren’t named Christopher Nolan that could get away with this. You read that right, it was more practical to actually crash a plane into a building than to use special effects, which is an astounding proposition in and of itself. Tenet, Nolan’s latest movie and what many are thinking will be one of the big blockbusters coming out of

How many of us remember this movie? It wasn’t all that big of a success when it came out but it did help Christina Applegate a little at least since it was a step outside of TV for her and it was a movie that eventually became a cult classic given that a lot of people can quote at least a few lines from it at this point. But as Kevin Fraser of Joblo has said, the new adaptation is apparently going to center around a black family, which on its own isn’t a bad or even controversial thing since

Welcome to The CoF Weekend Preview! Check out what’s opening this weekend and decide what you will be seeing in theaters.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation – Rt (38%) – Trailer
Our very own Kevin Fraser can’t help but want to see this movie; I have to admit as well, it looks entertaining. The plot will be ridiculous and the action will be over the top. Garbage never looked so good.
The Host – Rt (13%) – Trailer
They want this to happen pretty bad don’t they? They want a franchise like Twilight, or as they put it: “The Host” is the next epic love story from the creator of the “Twilight Saga,” worldwide bestselling author, Stephenie Meyer”. No, no I don’t think so.
Tyler Perry’s Temptation- Rt (n/a) – Trailer
Hey, the season finale of The Walking Dead is on this weekend, oh and something called Game of Thrones returns.
