On Wednesday night, Nick Cannon wasted no time on “America’s Got Talent” highlighting the stakes of the evening’s results: with the semi-finals starting next week, these would be the last four acts to move forward in the competition and join winners from previous weeks. After briefly introducing judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, Cannon invited three acts to join him on stage: Shevonne, Yellow Design Stunt Team, and West Springfield Dance Team.

So last night we had the "America's Got Talent" Season 6 Wild Card acts. Who do you think advances? I really am not sure, honestly. Could go several ways.
The first group of acts brought down is Shevonne, Yellow Design Stunt Team and West Springfield Dance Team. I think West Springfield should advance out of that group, but we'll see. These are three of Sharon's four picks, so she'll get one at least. And then it's - West Springfield. Cool. I'm excited to see what they do next.
Now some of the cast of "Les Miserables" is here - they're performing in L.A. right now, so that's why they're there. They do "One Day More" and goodness, it is a fabulous performance, I'm all teary-eyed. Great musical.
The second group of acts is Avery and the Calico Hearts, Charles Peachock, Those Funny Little People and The Kinetic King. None of them got through,...

Due to a power outage, I did not have access to "America's Got Talent" last night, so my apologies on the lateness of this. Also, I'm doing it based on the online videos, so I don't have the judges' comments on my versions. I also don't have the right order, though I'm pretty sure the Kinetic King went first because of set-up.
1. The Kinetic King
I hope this goes better than last time, even if I don't think he should advance. Nobody wants to watch him be sad and embarrassed. This week, he has many pop cans set up along with his tongue depressors and it gets going, but it's reeeeeeally slow. It's not as cool as his exploding tongue depressors. Ok, so that was kinda boring and he should not advance, but I'm glad he got his redemption for last time.

It’s “Wild Card” Week on “America’s Got Talent,” which means that each judge gets to bring back four acts who were dismissed because America voted for their competitors. Much like with his last performance, The Kinetic King was up first, if for no other reason than the logistics of his act – a Rube Goldberg-like chain of events – are more demanding than most. Unlike last time, however, he pulled off the stunt and then some: afterward, Piers Morgan proclaimed,...

NBC / Universal Tay Zonday performs on “America’s Got Talent”
After recruiting 12 acts to perform on Tuesday evening who originally submitted auditions via YouTube, viewers voted to determine who would move on to the semifinals of “America’s Got Talent.” Host Nick Cannon wasted no time bringing out two acts, acrobats Gymkana and the show choir Powerhouse, whom judge Piers Morgan was disappointed weren’t both moving on to the next level of competition. “I’m very sad one is going home,...

This week we had the 12 YouTube acts on "America's Got Talent." I read a lot of comments last night that they didn't think it was that strong. I really thought it was - no one act blew me completely away, but it was all of their first time doing this show. I just thought it was really strong top to bottom, which you cannot say about any other quarterfinals nights.
Anyway, the first group brought down is Gymkana and Powerhouse, the show choir. Gymkana is much stronger, I hope they advance. And they do! Excellent.
I shall not be recapping the "Chocolate Rain" performance by Tay Zonday, other than to say that his smile will haunt my dreams. Pure nightmare fuel.
Now it's Keenan Cahill, the kid who became famous for lip-syncing "Teenage Dream." Yeah, bleep bleep bleep.
And now it's Ok Go. Oh my god, how many people are On this show tonight?...

NBC / Universal Nick Cannon and Avril Lavigne on “America’s Got Talent”
After two hours of terrific performances on last night’s “America’s Got Talent,” the fate of the first 12 performers was left in the hands of the audience. Voting began promptly after the end of Tuesday’s show, and with the exception of one act, all of Wednesday’s winners were determined by the numbers of supporters who called or texted their choices. And as the show started,...

It's time to eliminate our first acts from the live American public voting on "America's Got Talent." The 12 acts from last night will be whittled down to four, with the Top 3 from the American public's vote going through and the fourth spot being the judges' choice.
The first group brought down for the results are the Fearless Flores Family, Duo Aero and Snap Boogie. I predict Snap Boogie is the one who is safe - and he is. Congrats, Snap. Good for him.
Um, I will not be recapping the shilling for "It's Worth What?", the Orville Lounge or Avril Lavigne. Sorry to disappoint you.
The next acts brought down are Squonk Opera, Sandou Trio Russian bar and J. Chris Newberg. Well, Sandou Trio should advance, though I'm slightly bummed about Newberg. But not really that bummed. And of course Sandou Trio advances.
The ext group is Dezmond Meeks, Echo the bird and Anna Graceman.

This week saw twelve acts perform on 'America's Got Talent' (Wed. 9Pm Et on NBC), but only four could go onto the semifinals. The acts were as varied as they were talented, including two that irritated Piers Morgan to no end: 'Those Funny Little People' and comedian J. Chris Newberg.
But the judges were united in their support of 11-year old singing phenom Anna Graceman, who wowed again with her rendition of Louis Armstrong's 'What a Wonderful World.'
Also a hit with the judges were the dangerous acts Fearless Flores Family and Sandou Trio Russian Bar, and dancers Snap Boogie and the Miami All Stars. But who got through?

NBC / Universal Howie Mandel serves as a judge on “America’s Got Talent”
On the first night of the “America’s Got Talent” live performances, the pressure is on as the acts are once again jumbled together and pitted against each other in nail-biting competition. While the judges will offer feedback on performances, broadcast viewers will ultimately decide who the winners are. From the first moments of the show to the last, host Nick Cannon encouraged folks at home to vote often for their favorites.

As soon as I took my seat in the sparkly, spacious and thankfully air-conditioned Studio 36 in CBS Studios, it became very clear that America’s Got Talent is first and foremost a family show. My row-mates were a group of 12-year-old Canadian boys who were excitedly wielding homemade posters for the Miami All Stars contestants, and the warm-up comedian was handing out plastic light-up glow rings to the preteen girls whose lungs were still untarnished enough to scream the loudest. Minutes later, he prompted two little boys to do a booty shake dance-off on stage. The closest thing I can...

The live voting rounds of "America's Got Talent" are finally here, gang. It seems like it has been forever since the show debuted, no? After a good 10 minutes of filler, we jump into the performances.
1. Miami All-Stars
We haven't seen these guys for awhile because they were sent straight through in Vegas. They get some bad news because the piece of music they were rehearsing with cannot be used due to legal reasons. Ouch. But they put on a great show. The opening is particularly awesome, as is the spinning girl (you know the one I mean). This is actually more entertaining than most group dance acts they have on this show, so good for them. The use of the musical cues was fantastic. The judges' praise is effusive.
2. Dezmond Meeks
Dez has picked himself up some gold sparkly backup dancers, which definitely adds to his act. His song is...
