She’s sliving in her music era! Playing off her signature and beloved catchphrase “That’s hot,” Paris Hilton premieres her new single “Hot One” with Rolling Stone Thursday.
“Sage, they the shy one/Zane, the always high one/Tess is the lit one/Brett is the fit one/Oh shit, I forgot one!” sings Hilton on the dance pop song, before declaring: “Me, I’m the hot one/Me, I’m the hot one.”

Sliving for this moment! Seventeen years after changing gay clubs forever with the release of “Stars Are Blind,” Paris Hilton is revisiting her club banger, dropping a new “Paris’ Version” of the track featuring her good friend Kim Petras.
The track opens with Hilton’s vocals over a refreshed version of the song’s original beat, before Petras joins in for a new verse. “Baby baby, I can be your confidante/Come on over if you’re down or not,” Petras sings, later adding, “Why shouldn’t we be with the ones we really love?...

Paris Hilton the singer is back, and we’re sliving for it! After teasing a “secret” for several days, Hilton released “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version),” a refreshed take on her beloved 2006 single, on Amazon music.
For the song’s new version, Hilton recorded fresh vocals and worked with Fernando Garibay — who produced the original song 15 years ago — and tapped Clint Gibbs to mix the project. The single is the first taste of “brand new music” that’s “on the way” in 2023.

Lady Gaga broke out in 2008, and since then her career has spanned music, film and TV. She’s an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA and Golden Globe winner, among other plaudits. And she’s an envelope-pushing fashion icon (remember that meat dress?). But what are her best songs? Scroll down to see how we rank the greatest hits of her career so far. Do you agree with our choice for number-one? And do you think we unjustly left out any classics? Let us know in the comments.
Her breakthrough hit was “Just Dance” in 2008. That pop hit topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and was certified nine-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It also earned her her first Grammy nomination: Best Dance Recording. But it was far from her last.

Come on, girls! Do you believe in Madonna? Because Lady Gaga has got something to say about “Express Yourself,” and she’s turned Madonna’s fourth-best single of 1989 into her own instant-classic club anthem, “Born This Way.” Except it’s actually much better than “Express Yourself,” because it’s faster, with Gaga chanting “Don’t be a drag / Just be a queen.” “Born This Way” sums up everything gaudy and glorious about Gaga, all her politics and sex and Catholic angst and smeared lipstick, in one admirably compact blast of disco aggression.

A key scene in Emerald Fennell’s “Promising Young Woman” has audiences falling in love with Paris Hilton’s underrated 2006 single, “Stars are Blind.” The film’s Stars Carey Mulligan and Bo Burnham dance to the song affectionately while in a local pharmacy. The tango soundtracks the two characters’ budding relationship, before — spoiler alert — it all goes south.
Released on Warner Bros. Records as the lead track from Hilton’s debut album, “Paris,” “Stars Are Blind” was produced by Fernando Garibay, who also co-wrote the song with Sheppard Solomon and Ralph McCarthy. As it turns out, the tune was earmarked for another pop singer entirely: Gwen Stefani.
The uber talented Garibay, who is the mastermind behind many of the tracks on Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” album, which he executive-produced, and Sia’s “Hologram,” has not yet seen seen the movie due to work commitments in and out of the studio.

Lady Gaga was Tweeting about the presidential debates last night, and decided to use some of the time after to take questions from fans. One of those was about "the continuation" of "Telephone," her mega-hit duet with Beyonce from "The Fame Monster." "Fact or fake?" asked fan @drunky_gaga. "Fact," Mother Monster replied. No word if that means Bey will actually show up on the track, but obviously she didn't perish in the great food poisoning incident in the epic music video for the tune, so why the hell not? Gaga also firmed up that producers Fernando Garibay and RedOne would be returning...

Yes, though she's currently in the midst of a two-year world tour, Gaga is already hard at work on the follow-up to 2011's Born This Way and, according to her co-manager, she's going to push the boundaries even further this time around (which is sure to please those Indonesian Islamic groups).

Some artists, like Adele, release albums that are pure Grammy catnip thanks to instant-classic sounds that resonate with the Recording Academy's way-back contingent. Then there's Lady Gaga.
She's been a bridesmaid twice for Album of the Year at the Grammys, losing out on her first two releases. But with her third bid on Sunday, for Born This Way, Gaga appears to have made the kind of career-defining, big-idea album that Grammy voters could not deny.
It had all the things the Academy loves in an Album of the Year nominee: ambition, deeply personal tracks that provide a glimpse at the artist's psyche, bold musical explorations, strong sales and chance to prove that they're hip enough to...

Lady Gaga is getting her Little Monsters amped up for the "Marry the Night" video. On Monday night, she tweeted out some teases about the New York-based clip.
"Just wrapped my 5th music video, can't wait to unfold all its secrets and share with you moments from my past I have yet to reveal," she said on the site. "Put Born This Way back in the vessel, for rebirth, as I lay in mine. When too strong to divorce, then buckle up, Marry The Night."

Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez are getting muy caliente on their new track "Mouth 2 Mouth." The two take their passion to the dance floor with the DJ Frank E-produced track. The song is all about desire as both Iglesias and Lopez trade sultry lines over shiny synths and pumping beats.
The passion on the swirling party track never subsides. "She called me up late at night/ We called an innocent crime/ She's such a good waste of time/ But in the back of my mind/ You know you're all I'm thinking of," Iglesias sings on the track.
"I can't catch a single breath, baby/ Help me now, help me now," the duo sings on the chorus. "Hurry up it's killing me the way I need your mouth to mouth, mouth to mouth.

Lady GaGa has reportedly announced that her new single will be 'Marry The Night'. The singer is currently preparing to release the track to radio as the fifth official single to be lifted from her Born This Way album, reports GaGa Daily. GaGa previously told MTV of the song: "I wrote so many songs on this new album about New York City, but one in particular 'Marry The Night,' that record is about my husband, New York." The 25-year-old wrote 'Marry The Night' with producer Fernando Garibay. GaGa explained: "You know, we've been working together for years, so I'm so excited. "I feel like, you and I have yet to have our big hit record. I kept saying to him, 'I don't want to do anything I've done before. I don't want to sound like anything I've done before'. (more)...

Late last week, after much Twitter buzz, we asked if you Lady Gaga fans out there wanted her next single to be "Bloody Mary." The song started trending on Twitter last week when some tech-savvy Little Monsters pushed the hashtag #BloodyMary to convince Mother Monster that the song should be her next single – even though her latest Born this Way track, "You and I," only just cracked the top ten last week. There also seemed to be some consensus that the moody electro-pop song would work perfectly with a Halloween-themed video.

Lady Gaga's latest single "You and I" is only in its fifth week on the Billboard charts and reached its highest chart position yet this week (No. 6), but Little Monsters have already launched a campaign for what song should be next.
Earlier this week, fans of the "Born This Way" superstar got #BloodyMary trending on Twitter in an effort to convince the singer that the popular track from her latest album would be the perfect fifth single – and that dark, moody the song would be a perfect fit for a Halloween-style video.
While discussing Born This Way in-depth with MTV News, producer Fernando Garibay revealed "Bloody Mary" is a "very personal" song to Gaga. The demo was originally developed and recorded by Gaga and co-producer DJ White Shadow in Los Angeles and later finished by Gaga, Shadow and Garibay, though it "stayed pretty much intact as the original demo.

Lady Gaga announced yesterday on Twitter that her next single is “coming in a bit,” but failed to reveal what song from her hit album Born This Way would be getting the full-on single treatment.
Gaga is a master at stoking anticipation when it comes to her singles. Remember when she sang that little blurb of “Born This Way” a cappella at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards and her Little Monsters went bananas, some going so far as to loop the 15-second audio into their own mixes of her songs (among other things). She teases and flirts and generally does a better job than almost anyone else in making sure we know her new tune is dropping.
So with a new single on the horizon, it’s time to think out loud about which Btw songs we think could really connect with listeners outside of her loyal fanbase.

As producer Fernando Garibay told MTV News, the song was inspired by the death of Gaga's grandfather and was written while on the road. It features one of Gaga's childhood icons, E Street Band sax player Clarence Clemons, who suffered a stroke over the weekend. "In bed with Mommy thinking about Clarence," Gaga tweeted on Monday. "I can't wait for you to see the beautiful video we made together.

Back in 2009, White Shadow was approached to work on a co-headlining tour for Lady Gaga and Kanye West. After their Fame Kills Tour was canceled, though, Shadow was asked to focus on the next phase in Gaga's career. The producer and the pop star had already built quite a foundation by the time they finally met in person in the summer of 2010. According to a casting notice that E! News got their paws on, Gaga is looking for a hot dude to make out with in the video. Specifically, the notice asks for a "Puerto Rican or Dominican type badass" who "must be willing to kiss Lady Gaga ... Think Enrique Iglesias."
In addition to the hot guy, the casting call also is seeking "Couture Doctors" who will wear smocks and black gloves, adding "think 'Dr. 90210'.

In the process, she's set new high-water marks for album promotion by blanketing the airwaves, newsstands, billboards and the Internet with images and stunts aimed at making it impossible to avoid hearing or reading about her second studio effort.
"Her quote to me was 'I want to penetrate pop culture,' " said senior writer Brian Hiatt, who wrote the upcoming Rolling Stone magazine cover story on Gaga after spending a week on-and-off with the singer a month ago as she was finishing up vocals...

Lady Gaga dabbled in Latin-sounding music on Fame Monster with "Alejandro," but for Born This Way, Gaga took that sound to a whole new level on "Americano," a charging, no-holds-barred statement about love of all kinds, played up against the chugging backdrop of Spanish guitar, horns and a disco-ready beat.
"The song was directly inspired by events that happened that day. It was in August, in the middle of summer, last year, and it was when Prop 8 was overturned in California," producer Fernando Garibay told MTV News of the controversial ruling that banned gay marriage in the state. "And there was a lot happening with immigration and the border issues and she pushed, she said she wanted to make this song really Mexican,...

The ninth track on Born This Way, "Bad Kids," is unapologetic Lady Gaga at her fiercest.
The metal-tinged disco anthem about embracing yourself includes a line that has Gaga singing, "I'm a twit, degenerate, young rebel and I'm proud of it / Pump your fist if you would rather mess up than put up with this." Like so many of the anthems on Born This Way, which officially dropped on Monday (May 23), the song is about accepting and celebrating perceived flaws.
If you don't think anyone else gets you, Lady Gaga does, and when she sat down to write the track with producers Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow, she had some bad kids in mind. " 'Bad Kids' is...

Lady Gaga has mixed up a "Bloody Mary" for her fans on Born This Way, which was released on Monday (May 23). The song sits at #8 on the album's track list, sandwiched between "Scheiße" and "Bad Kids."
The track is a dark, electro-pop tune about religion and art, putting into context a relationship Gaga is in where she plays the part of Bloody Mary, a character based in both urban legend (a ghostly figure that might appear if you say her name three times while looking into a mirror) and history (England's Queen Mary I, who burned religious radicals at the stake during the Marian Persecutions).
