Diana Pérez(I)
A native of Celaya, Mexico, Univision Chicago Digital anchor Diana Pérez moved to Chicago at the age of six. She learned English by watching the news, which inspired her to earn a bachelor's degree in communications and sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Pérez joined the Univision Chicago team in 2015 as a weather anchor before eventually transitioning to the Univision Chicago Digital team to become its daily news anchor. From 2019, she Co-Hosted the region's first ever Spanish-language morning show "Primera Hora" (First Hour) with Alex Hernández.
