We should have known that anything called Survivor: Game Changers was going to be a good time, but it's more fun than we even thought it would be. First the castaways were split into two tribes, then three, then back to two. Sometimes two tribes have to go to tribal council, and sometimes only one. And one by one, some of the biggest, most game-changey players are being picked off thanks to the genius manipulation of their tribe mates. And meanwhile, it seems that some of the castaways are slowly losing their minds, if they hadn't already lost them. Debbie, for instance, went a little nuts last week after she volunteered to do the balance beam part of a challenge, then failed spectacularly at it, and...

Survivor: Game Changers brings back 20 of Survivor‘s most memorable players for another chance at the million dollar prize and the title of “sole survivor.”
It’s not the first time the hit CBS competition series has invited some of its all-star players to play television’s hardest game. But there’s favorite player fans won’t see in the mix: “Boston Rob” Mariano.
The father of four, who is married to fellow Survivor alum Amber Brkich, has competed four separate times — including 2011’s Survivor: Redemption Island, which he won. But that’s likely the last time Mariano will be throwing on his buff.

The cast for Survivor: Game Changers is a bit confusing. While the collection of returning players should make for an entertaining season, since second-time castaways always play the game harder than their first go-around, the subtitle of Game Changers is a misnomer. While there are a few standouts and some rather remarkable contestants from Survivor history, very few of them have "changed" the game. There are even a handful (like Tai, Caleb and Brad Culpepper) who have no business being in an All-Stars-esque season.
There are several players who fall somewhere between the huge threat level of contestants like two-time winner Sandra and bizarre non-entities like Debbie. These players are the really dangerous ones. In no particular order, here are five of the most promising, and for their fellow castaways most threatening, returning players in Survivor: Game Changers.

What a ride. "Survivor: Kaôh Rōng," aka Season 32 -- and the second to carry the "Brains, Brawn, and Beauty" theme -- ended last night with a dramatic two hour finale and one-hour reunion show. Debbie Wanner has been called many things on Survivor: Kaoh Rong. She has been called a chemist, a waitress and a part-time model by herself. Debbie has also been called awful, annoying and loud by everyone else living with her. The most outrageous claim about Debbie has been one out of her own mouth though.
Debbie thinks she is a mastermind and this couldn't be further from the truth. Debbie is not nearly as smart as she thinks she is, despite the fact that she landed on the Brains tribe. This doesn't mean that Debbie isn't playing a good game of Survivor. It's just a different game than the one she thinks she is playing.

Well that may have been the grossest episode of Survivor ever. In a merge that promised an epic battle of brains, brawn, and beauty, the real victor was bacteria.
The Fishy this week goes to the tiny Staphylococcus germ.

And now the game changes.
It's merge time on Survivor, meaning that the remaining 11 castaways will finally become one tribe.
Merge episodes are always fun, and this one seems destined for greatness. The tribes are generally even: four Brains, four Beauties and three Brawn remain. Of the seven contestants who have been eliminated, five of them were in their 20s, leaving us with the youngest and oldest contestants (18-year-old Julia and 72-year-old Joe, respectively.) Some of the most interesting contestants remain: Tai, the fiftysomething gardner, NBA champion Scot Pollard, and quirky job-hopper Debbie,
Best of all: the three immunity idols are still in play,...

Debbie Wanner doesn't have very good odds to win "Survivor: Kaoh Rong" according to our Gold Derby predictions as determined by you. While she's currently in seventh place to win with 14/1 odds, after this week's episode I'm inclined to think that she could actually be the eventual champ. Below, consider my reasons why before making your "Survivor" predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It's fun and easy, so start now by scrolling down to predict who will be eliminated next. -Break- Who will win 'Survivor: Kaoh Rong'? See exclusive predictions Think about it -- Debbie has been this season's main character, narrating both her own successful strategy and commenting on the faults of others like Peter Baggenstos throughout the initial six episodes. This week her tribe didn't even go to tribal council, but we still got to see the way she reeled new tribe mates...

This week on Survivor, everybody almost died. After a brutal challenge in scorching 118 degree Cambodian heat, three contestants zonked out from heatstroke, and Caleb took a (Russell) Swan dive that ended with a medevac.
It's really the humidity that kills you.
The Fishy Award goes to Dr. Joe. He stayed calm, cool, and collective while the entire cast twitched and foamed at the mouth like they were extras on The Walking Dead. First Debbie went loopy, then Caleb collapsed and Cydney broke down. Dr. Joe had ice packs, water bottles, and battlefield wisdom for them all. (Though for some reason,...

Survivor: Kaoh Rong's ninth day started like any other one: With a ridiculous challenge that forced the castaways of season 32 to play a silly carnival on the beach in the middle of nowhere. But things got crazy Very quickly when the challenge turned out to produce one of the most genuinely terrifying moments of the show, ever. Things were very, very hot on that Cambodia beach, and Debbie (of the Brains tribe) succumbed to heatstroke. She knew what was happening to her body and managed to keep a smile on her face while the medics successfully cooled her down—but her fellow castaway Caleb wasn't so lucky. Soon after Debbie's recovery, the Beauty tribe's Caleb collapsed. The medics attempted the...

"You can't get cocky in this game, but I'm in control. It would take something extraordinary, off the charts, completely whacked out to disturb my plans now." –Marty Piombo, Survivor: Nicaragua, immediately before losing control
Peter Baggenstos may look like Obama. But to my eyes, he's the Donald Trump of Survivor. Everything he's doing is the absolute best.
Some say Survivor is an infinitely complex game.

Survivor recap Episode 2: “Kindergarten Camp,” Season 32, Episode 2 (original airdate Feb. 24, 2016): The Brawn tribe was the first to lose a member last episode, they gave the boot to Darnell. It was a last-minute switcheroo, actually, as they were originally gunning for Alecia. Poor Alecia, she’s confused. She doesn’t know where she stands. Her tribe thinks she’s dumber than dumb. More on that later. Catching up with Beauty Tai got busted the last time he tried looking for an immunity idol, so he was a bit more careful when he started back at it again. This time … Continue reading →

Where does Survivor find these people?
No, that's not a rhetorical question. We really want to know.
When the long-running reality show returns for its 32nd season, Survivor: Kaoh Rong, on Feb. 17, they've found a new batch of contestants to compete for the $1 million prize. Survivor's strength has always been in its casting, and, by the looks of this crew, they may have done it again.
There's a bounty hunter from Detroit, a Minnesota ER doctor, a semi-retired NBA player and a female bodybuilder from Georgia. There's a 19-year-old student and a 72-year-old(!) former FBI agent from Florida.
