Paul-Robert is a New York City transplant by way of Jamaican and Martiniquan parents birthed and bred in Trinidad and Tobago. A real Pan-Caribbean or as we say in the islands; 'Callaloo'- a blended stew of mixed ingredients.
The proverbial acting bug got me early. Like really early. In Pre-K, I would reenact every single Bert & Ernie skit from Sesame Street, verbatim! Now, I've graduated from Muppets to Shakespeare having honed my craft at the Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Acting.
I am passionate about retelling ancient stories in new ways and telling urgently topical ones that call on us to be the best versions of ourselves. Whether that's in a personal indie that tugs on our heartstrings or a sprawling tent-pole franchise in a galaxy far far away.
