21 Savage’s American Dream biopic and its trailer were a spoof, the rapper confirmed in an interview on podcast Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe on Wednesday.
“No, that was a parody,” Savage told Sharpe with a slight smirk after he was asked about the upcoming project during the lengthy two-hour long interview.
The trailer was complete with a poster for the fake movie and included the intro shot for film production company Lionsgate. The trailer claimed the film would release on Independence Day and included Stranger Things star...

Everyone is still talking about Katt Williams’ interview on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, including Saturday Night Live.
The NBC sketch show poked fun at the interview, providing an eight-hour “extended cut” with Ego Nwodim posing as the comedian.
“Three things are true about me. I am 5’3, I have never told a lie, and I am 6’3,” she (as Williams) tells Devon Walker’s Sharpe.
Giving a nod to Williams’ ongoing feud with Kevin Hart, which he reignited during the real podcast interview, Nwodim joked: “Look, Hollywood made Kevin Hart. Everyone knows Kevin Hart was made in the same factory where they make Teddy Grahams.”
Pushing back on skepticism from Walker, she questioned, “Then why the hell he smell like cinnamon?”
Nwodim’s version of Williams also took a swing at former President Obama, wondering why his name has “all vowels in it,” and insisting he wrote Obama’s slogan “Yes We Can.

Ice Cube is responding to comments made by comedian, writer and actor Katt Williams about the pay, casting and an alleged rape scene in the Friday franchise.
The rapper and producer took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Friday to address several statements made during Williams’ recent interview on former NFL star Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. In a nine-minute video, Ice Cube said he had “a lot of love for Katt,” who “spoke up for me a lot,” but he “wanted to be clear to clarify some things.”
That includes denying he would film a rape scene after Williams told Sharpe that he had pushed for the removal of a sexual assault sequence from Friday After Next. “I would never shoot a rape scene in a movie, especially Friday, where you actually see this happening on camera. That ain’t my style,” Ice Cube said.

Comedian Katt Williams has reignited his feud with comic/actor Kevin Hart, rolling out some highly inflammatory comments on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay YouTube show.
Hart has responded, calling the comments “sad,” but using the moment to tout his upcoming Netflix film.
Williams didn’t hold back on the Sharpe show.
“In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold-out Kevin Hart show, there being a line for him, ever getting a standing ovation at any comedy club,” Williams said.
Later in the cast, Williams again took on Hart.
“For a five-year period, every single movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that had been on my desk that all I had said was just, ‘Can we take some of this Stepin Fetchit shit out and then I can do it,'” said Williams.
“Like it don’t need to...

Writer Samantha Herman can’t get enough of the holiday season and being in love with love—so naturally, she writes Christmas movies for the Hallmark Channel.
Viewers can now view her eleventh project for the network titled Christmas Island, both set and shot in Canada. The TV movie follows Kate Gabriel (Rachel Skarsten), a commercial pilot looking forward to spending her holiday break flying the Sharpe family on a luxurious vacation to Switzerland. During the flight, a snowstorm forces her to land at a small airport in Maritimes, Canada.
Although hesitant to divert the plane, Oliver Macleod (Andrew Walker), the pragmatic Air Traffic Control Officer, guides them to the nearby (and very real) Christmas Island, their safest option. Fate does its thing bringing Kate and Oliver closer together as they help the Sharpe family make the best of things by partaking in some local holiday traditions. Spoiler Alert: It’s probably a love connection.

Sophia Di Martino and Will Sharpe are the definition of a power couple. Di Martino is currently taking over the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Sylvie in Disney+'s "Loki," but she's also known for her roles in British series like "The Royal Today," "Casualty," and "Flowers." The latter two also featured Sharpe, whom you may recognize from other shows like "Giri/Haji" and "The White Lotus." Sharpe is also an award-winning writer and director.
Over the years, Di Martino and Sharpe have collaborated on several projects together. Still, the pair tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. They rarely talk about each other in interviews and have only recently started making public appearances together. Since they keep details about their relationship under wraps, it's unclear if they're engaged or married, but we do know they have been together since 2009 and have two children together.

Cool air in the evenings, pumpkins on doorsteps, and Spirit of Halloween stores everywhere you look. Yes, it is the most wonderful time of the year for a certain set of us who like our weather settings left at “autumnal” and our genre of choice to be on the spooky side of things.
With that in mind, one of the most pleasurable things to do each October is curl up with a good horror movie and feel the goosebumps gather on the back of your neck. But how do you know if something is a good horror movie, exactly? You watch it for yourself, or you trust the experts, of course! For instance, the most popular streaming service in the world, Netflix, offers a cornucopia of chillers, but which are the ones that might be worth your time? Our staff has put their heads together and come up with the below list.

This week “America’s Got Talent” season 18 continued the second stage of the competition, known as “Qualifiers.” In this round, 55 acts are divided into five groups for five weeks of performances, all in the hopes of advancing to The Finals. While series judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel are still around to offer their support and critique of the acts, the power is out of their hands and rests all in America’s vote. Only two acts from each of the five qualifying groups will win over America and earn a spot in the “AGT” finale.
In “Qualifiers 1” on August 22, Sofia’s Golden Buzzer singer Lavender Darcangelo and dog act Adrian Stoica & Hurricane were the two acts that America sent through to “The Finals.”

MGM+’s new series about King Arthur, The Winter King, is based on a trilogy of novels by well known historical novelist Bernard Cornwell, author of the Sharpe books. Cornwell’s historical fiction is always well-researched. But just how “historical” is King Arthur in the first place?
People have been telling stories about King Arthur for centuries, but historians aren’t even sure if anyone by that name ever existed. Even the earliest stories were told centuries after Arthur would have lived, if he were real. On top of that, of course, there are quite a few elements of those stories that seem… unlikely. Women sticking their hands out of lakes holding swords, that sort of thing. Some dragons. But there are elements of truth to some of the stories, and the historical setting of them is real enough.

ESPN may have laid off a couple dozen people in the past month, but it seems the network is not afraid of hiring, either.
“I want Shannon Sharpe on First Take and I am to get him,” said that show’s star, Stephen A. Smith on his podcast today, before revealing that ESPN brass are in negotiations with the hall-of-fame tight end who just recently left Fox.
“We are definitely talking to Shannon Sharpe,” Smith said. “The conversations are official, the reports have not been misnomers or misreports or anything like that. We are talking to him and I’m hopeful, very hopeful, very confident that ultimately we will be announcing sooner than later that he will be on First Take.”
Smith added that the decision was not ultimately his to make, but that he wanted to make clear publicly where he stood.

So, fusing the acknowledgement of the subject matter’s limitations with an endearingly meta “distraction” in the form of a grounded and adorable love story, Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game crosses the finish line and does a remarkable job at that. Let’s see how the film plays out and if there’s a thing or two to learn from the story of Roger Sharpe.
Plot Synopsis: What Happens In ‘Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game’?

Skip Bayless has taken a jab at Charles Barkley after the former NBA star called the Fox Sports analyst an “idiot.” In return, the Undisputed co-host called Barkley a “clown.”
“Still chuckling over a clown calling me an idiot,” Bayless tweeted.
The tweet from Bayless after Barkley’s coverage of The Match earlier this week where Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson faced off Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in a golf competition. Barkley took a swing at Bayless in a nod to Shannon Sharpe leaving the FS1 show and getting a contract buyout from the sports network.
“He’s the best tight end, it’s between him and Gronk as the best ever. And I don’t want to leave out Shannon Sharpe,” Barkley said. “I want one of those jobs where I can get a buyout for working with an idiot.”
Barkley later joked, “What do you think Ernie?...
