Ioanna Davi is a graduate of Economics and Management from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She is the CEO of Indigo View Productions and producer of numerous award-winning TV series, short films and documentaries.
Among others, she has produced the 26-episode period drama The Island, the historical documentary When Mercury Held His Breath and the 13-episode teenage mystery/adventure Commandos and Dragons. She is wrapping up the production of two historical documentaries in Greece and an international documentary across five countries (Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Indonesia and Cyprus). Her first feature film production Recrucified, directed by Theo Papadoulakis and based on the iconic novel "Christ Recrucified" by Greek author Nikos Kazantzakis, is being set up as a European co-production, having already received European Co-Development Support by Creative Europe - Media. Also in development: the political satire / drama series The Salesman, developed at MFI's Script2Lab and The Owl workshops, documentary series Re_Set on alternative healing methods and a powerful documentary on Minoan Women.
Ioanna co-founded Indigo View Productions in 2005, at the age of 24, with the vision to create a strong platform for film productions on the island of Crete in Southern Greece. With a constant workflow since then, Indigo View been established in the Greek audiovisual industry and continues to grow as an award-winning production company, having created hundreds of hours of content for film, TV and online. The company's portfolio ranges from highly rated and internationally sold TV series to award winning short films, documentaries, as well as an array of corporate, advertising and music videos, which have received more than 100 international awards.
Indigo View also offers line production services to foreign producers filming their projects in Greece, through its film servicing branch Greek Fixers.
