Leslie Napoles was born in Los Angeles to Igancio Napoles and Berenice

She began performing at a very young age as a dancer and actress, and decided to move to New York City to further her career.
While there she studied with John Strasberg, Bill Hickey, John Barton, and others. She began producing theatre in downtown NYC in the early 90s and was one of the youngest to do so...producing plays by Pirandello, Yeats, and Shakespeare.
After a few years producing and performing in theatre she participated in many independent films as an actress and decided to pursue her own career as a writer/director.
Her first film was the feature "Like Someone In Love" in which she starred in (with Irish actor David Costelloe).
Her following films were the featurette "Trust" with the English actor Tim Smallwood (in which she also starred) and the short films "Thighline", and "Never got Home".
She produced a documentary on adoptees who are searching for their biological relatives in "Forever Family".
