Here’s an UnREAL development: Everlasting’s new showrunner doesn’t seem to be completely emotionally messed up or morally bankrupt!

But, since this is the show where producers were responsible for causing a contestant to commit suicide, incoming boss Coleman must be at least slightly damaged, right?
“I think he is a good guy,” Michael Rady says of his documentary filmmaker. “He knows which way is north. He has a good moral compass. And he trusts his instincts.”
All of which will cause friction between the Ep and Head Bitch in Charge Quinn, the actor reveals below.

What is it about reality-show dudes whose names start with “Ch”?
This season of ABC’s The Bachelorette has a deli-meat-scarfing, ‘roid-raging Chad. And in a similarly troubling turn of events, this season of Lifetime’s UnREAL has a spear-throwing, Paleolithic-lifestyle-retreating Chet, who shows up just in time to seriously threaten Rachel and Quinn’s plan for, if not world domination, than certainly network queen bee-hood.
As much as I’d like to laugh off Mr. I-Lost-50-Lbs.-and-Found-My-Gonads-Gumption’s bid to reclaim Everlasting for his own, he just may succeed. And what does that say about our two favorite lady bosses,...

Tonight on The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn chose suitor Shawn — but not before awkwardly stopping suitor Nick in the middle of his proposal. Eek. It was so unbelievably uncomfortable, it’s hard to believe it wasn’t scripted. Meanwhile, on The Bachelorette’s actually scripted blood brother, UnREAL, bachelor Adam decides not to choose down-home Faith — even after she proposed the most valid situation in this entirely fake scenario. You see, she’s a lesbian and Adam’s a “player,” a.k.a., he’s not ready to get married despite the Royal Renovations plan for Enchanted’s next season. Faith's suggestion that they team up to fake out America for a year was actually the most valid one — as opposed to Anna, who tells Rachel she’s “falling” for Adam, or Grace, who storms off set after threatening Chet with breach of contract. They promised her a lead role on Royal Renovation,...

In the trailer for The Overnight, Taylor Schilling’s character tells her husband, played by Adam Scott, that they should maybe leave before anything crazy happens. Oops! It did however get us to thinking about how to make a swift exit from an awkward party, or when, you know, you just want to go home and watch Game of Thrones (Okay, The Bachelorette). Vulture caught up with Adam and Naomi Scott at the New York premiere of The Overnight on Thursday to ask them if they had any tips on exiting a party early:Naomi Scott: We have it down to a look now, I think. Welcome to the March 10, 2015 edition of Outrage Watch, HitFix's (almost) daily rundown of all the things folks are peeved about in entertainment. Today's top story: "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" has a race problem. Though reaction to the Netflix comedy has been almost universally positive, Vulture writer Libby Hill has a major problem with the subplot involving Jane Krakowski's character, revealed to be a Native American who wears color contacts and dyes her hair blonde in order to pass for white. "This specific backstory is most frustrating because it doesn’t serve a purpose, either narratively or comedically," Hill writes. "There must be more compelling (and funnier!) ways to give Jacqueline a backstory that don’t require sloppily marginalizing a group of people who are already as marginalized as you can get." Some folks apparently aren't too happy with the depiction of Ki Hong Lee's character either. [Vulture] Want more? There's...

Season 2 of the TV version of "Burning Love" premieres on E! Wednesday night (Nov. 13), and in keeping with the shows it parodies, you'll see some familiar faces from the previous season.
June Diane Raphael, who played love-seeking Julie Gristlewhite in the show's first season, returns to do the picking among a bunch of guys, just like "The Bachelorette" now only uses past "Bachelor" contestants. Adam Scott is also among the returnees, his Damian Assante having given up his job as the show's unlicensed therapist to find love.
If you watch "Burning Love" in its web-series form on Yahoo, you know what's coming. But even if you do, there's more than enough comedy to sustain repeat viewing.
Take a look at two clips from the E! premiere, which airs at 10:30 p.m. Et Wednesday. The one up top introduces Julie to guys played by Paul Scheer and Scott, and the...

Although "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" may seem silly enough to be parodies at times, we always know that they mean to be serious. That is not the case with "Burning Love," a web series that turns the whole thing into a joke.
Now, you can watch the first two episodes of the newest joke, "Burning Love" Season 2, right here.
If you haven't seen Season 1 of this web series, you might want to do that -- episodes are airing on E!. It isn't, however, necessary to enjoy the second season. Season 2 focuses on Julie Grisselwhite (June Diane Raphael), a single girl who failed to win the heart of Mark Orlando (Ken Marino) in Season 1. This time, she's the one looking for a husband. And there are a whole bunch of eligible men trying to win her hand.
Who are these men? Just like on "The Bachelorette" the men come in every type.

If you have ever seen a few minutes of "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" -- and if you have even a little bit of a sense of humor -- you really need to watch "Burning Love." The web series will return for its second season of dating absurdity on Feb. 14 (Valentine's Day, of course), but you can watch a trailer for it now.
Back in season 1, "Burning Love" chronicled the efforts of Mark Orlando (Ken Marino of "Children's Hospital" and "Party Down") as he tried to find the love of his life from a group of strangers. Mark's journey is now over -- until "Burning Love Pad" anyway -- and now it's time for a woman to find her man.
That woman is Julie Gristlewhite (June Diane Raphael, "Ntsf:sd:suv::," "New Girl"). She had her heart broken by Mark in season 1, and now she gets to break a lot of other hearts.

Toughest Trick: Survivor’s Zane managed to blindside himself by coming up with an elaborate scheme designed to oust Russell only to find himself the one whose flame was snuffed out.

Six months after debuting at the Sundance Film Festival, Leslye Headland's "Bachelorette" has got itself a trailer. It's nothing like the television show, "The Bachelorette," but it does bares some resemblance to the 2011 hit film, "Bridesmaids." Produced by funny men Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the film follows three bridesmaids (Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan) as they reunite to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of their high school friend, Becky (Rebel Wilson). Supported by a male cast of Adam Scott, James Marsden and Hayes McArthur, the trailer highlights some of the witty and hilarious moments of the film. Check out our interview with director Headland from Sundance, and then take a sneak peek below of "Bachelorette," which comes out September 7th via The Weinstein Company/Radius and on VOD nearly a month earlier on August 10th. ...

New York — On the surface, "Burning Love" is eerily identical to "The Bachelor."
All of the hallmarks of the ABC reality series are here: the steady, melodramatic winnowing of suitors, the shallowness masquerading as romance, the cheesy up-lighting on a remote mansion.
But while "Burning Love," a new Web series currently streaming on Yahoo, adheres to many traditions of "The Bachelor," it greatly inflates others. The vacant bachelor is a firefighter who cheerfully introduces himself in front of a burning building. Instead of roses, he awards women hoses. One contestant is so outrageously trampy, she goes through the entire show without pants and her lower half graphically blurred.
"I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh but isn't afraid of robots," says the firefighter Mark Orlando (Ken Marino). "Maybe somebody ethnic."

For those of us who have looked forward to the day Adam Scott's comedic talents earned him star status, the wait is finally over.
The actor makes his long-overdue leading man debut in Big Bear Pictures' upcoming "A.C.O.D," which stands for "Adult Children of Divorce."
Scott, who has held his own against comedy superstars like Jane Lynch and Amy Poehler in TV hits "Party Down" and "Parks and Recreation," will take on the lead role in the Stuart Zicherman-directed comedy, Deadline reports.
The actor, who has made a career playing second (and third, and fourth) fiddle in comedies like "Knocked Up" and "Step Brothers," stars as a 30-something who goes all "Parent Trap" on his folks, taking it upon himself to reunite his divorced parents after years of feuding in time for his younger brother's wedding.

Adam Scott, arguably the dreamiest "thinking girl's sex symbol" out there, has established his acting cred in various comedy outlets (Stepbrothers, Party Down, Parks & Rec) as well as a handful of dramas like the indie Vicious Kind. Which makes him pitch-perfect for indie comedies and dark comedies, natch. God, he's appealing. Sorry, I'm gushing.

Adam Scott has joined the cast of the indie comedy A.C.O.D. (an acronym for Adult Children of Divorce). Deadline reports that Scott will star in the directorial debut of Stuart Zicherman based on a script he wrote with Ben Karlin. The film also stars Zac Efron and Dennis Quaid.
Scott plays "a thirty-ish man who was forced at an early age to be the adult of his family when his parents split bitterly. Fed up dealing with his parents' long running feud, he must get his folks together once more time and keep from blowing a gasket after his younger brother unexpectedly decides to get married."
Scott has been very busy lately with his hilarious show Parks & Recreation. He appears opposite Paul Rudd in Our Idiot Brother, and will be seen next alongside Jon Hamm in Friends with Benefits. He recently wrapped My Mother's Curse opposite Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand.

The worst part about Thursday night’s bracing eviction episode of Big Brother, which allowed one eliminated player to fight his/her way back into the game, was not its crummy competition, lame voting results, or Lawon’s frightening use of the words “special powers.” Close, though. It was how predictable it all was, and in the most depressing way possible.
The minute Lawon confessed his plans to beat eviction and remain in the game, my glance moved solemnly to the floor. It’s hard to watch someone that excited and delusional — like a beaming, idiotic stud on The Bachelorette...

Over the past decade or so, Hollywood has had two surefire hit titans rule its comedy box office with an iron first, as Judd Apatow and Will Ferrell have launched a new generation of stars for their dude-driven goofball laughers. Now, in a brand new decade, it seems as if the two will be looking to shift over and utilize the talents of a growing legion of leading funny ladies.
As Apatow's Kristen Wiig-led, women-centric marriage comedy "Bridesmaids," approaches its release date, Ferrell is in the midst of creating his own entry into the genre. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ferrell and longtime collaborator Adam McKay are putting together a film tentatively titled "The Bachelorette," about three women who come back to their hometown to be bridesmaids for a girl they called "Pigface" in high school.
Thus far, Ferrell and McKay have landed some major talent for the film,...

Aspiring filmmakers Adam (Kohn) and David (Basis) travel halfway across the Us to shoot a documentary on former reality star turned reporter Meredith Phillips, played in meta fashion by former reality star Meredith Phillips. Turning the pair down, the duo think all is lost – that is until Phillips is given a new assignment: uncover the mystery behind the death of a pair of twins in their family’s barn. Without a crew, Phillips ropes in the two young filmmakers with the promise that they’ll get their documentary along the way. So the trio head off to the site of the murders, which like any good horror movie is a creepy small town in the middle of Nowheresville, USA…

Harry's Law, which according to the website apparently now has the tagline, "Go ahead. Make her case," premiered Monday on NBC, and it's been tough trying to follow the ratings banter that has followed. Did it make a strong showing as far as the ratings are concerned? It seems to depend on who you ask at any given moment. The numbers themselves aren't in dispute, but there is some disagreement as to what they mean.
Whether the ratings are "good" (because it's a January premiere, etc.), or "bad" (because it has Kathy Bates and David E. Kelley for crying out loud, etc.), doesn't mean a lot to me, though I find the argument interesting. The new legal dramedy, which also features Kathy Bates holding up a .44 Magnum on the website, after the big "reveal" of the pilot episode, ought to be the most discussed new show in years, because it is incomprehensibly,...

Can you feel it in the air? Shows are ending (The Bachelorette, So You Think You Can Dance), reshaping (American Idol, America's Got Talent) or about to begin (Mad Men, Project Runway). Nothing is constant anymore; our DVR, so used to the gentle stream of summer programming we've come to know and depend on, is in flux. Those first hints of fall are impossible to ignore. Thankfully, we've got PopWatch to guide us through these turbulent times! Here are the posts with the most comments this week: 10. A month and a half after beginning this long, strange trip, we finally have our first batch of America's Got Talent semifinalists. 9. Let the Tucker Max hate-watch begin! Annie Barrett served up the first I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell trailer...with a heaping side of sass. But seriously, this guy's terrible. 8. Peter Jackson and The Lovely Bones (what a great folk group that would have been!
