Cheri Haight is a lead acrobatic actress for Cirque du Soleil's KA show
at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. She has been playing the role of
the Twin Brother for the past 10 years and over 4,000 shows. In
addition, she performs hand-shadow puppetry, stage combat, stunts, and
high-flying wire work.
Cheri Haight began studying Chinese martial arts Kung Fu and Wushu
styles at the age of 13, and soon rose to become among the top athletes
in the sport in the US. She won numerous gold medals and trophies
during her years of competition, and achieved the highest rank for the
Women's National Wushu Team in 2003. Soon after, she received her
contract with Cirque du Soleil to play one of the main characters for
the KA show @ the MGM Grand Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. KA is best
described as acrobatic theatre. As the role of the Twin Brother, she
has been cross-dressing as the male protagonist of the story since the
creation of the show.
