First, The CW announces an all-star version of America’s Next Top Model. And now, Lifetime tells us that we’ll see some of our favorite reality stars back on an all-star edition of Project Runway?! Is 2011 just a year-long Christmas?! Because this is quite a gift to us pop-culture junkies: In addition to a ninth season of the Emmy-nominated fashion competition, the network will air Project Runway All Stars, eight one-hour episodes featuring previous contestants. This makes it slightly different than the two-hour Project Runway: All-Stars Challenge, which saw the return of players Jeffrey Sebelia, Santino Rice, Daniel Vosovic,...

Carol Hannah Whitfield's third-place finish on Project Runway shocked many fans, but surprisingly, not the evening wear designer herself. The designer talked with TVGuide.com about why she thinks she didn't win the top spot and her steamy flirtation with fellow Runway contestant Logan. Also, check out the video to see which cast mates she's sharing space with now and what's coming up for her clothing line...

Irina Shabayeva, nicknamed "Mean-a Irina" by a fellow contestant on Project Runway, may have won the show's sixth season, but the list of items she hasn't won is perhaps more impressive: 1) fair editing (according to her), 2) exoneration from those plagiarism accusations, and 3) any of her prize money yet. She also claims the producers didn't show how friendly she was to competitor Carol Hannah Whitfield, who was sick during the final runway show. Plus, she gives to Unicef or something. [EW]...

She didn't trash talk. She accused no one of cheating. She never indulged in gratuitous self-aggrandizing. In fact, unless you consider crushing out on the hot guy or barfing on camera as high-stakes drama (okay, well the last thing kinda is), it's fair to say that Carol Hannah sailed through her season remarkably crisis-free. The self-taught designer from Charleston, S.C. made it all the way to Bryant Park with her head down and her mind focused on one thing: her work. Well, and maybe a little bit on Logan, too. As Dalton and I learned this morning, season six's...

Irina Shabayeva has been crowned the winner of the sixth season of Project Runway. The 27-year-old from New York triumphed over fellow finalists Althea Harper and Carol Hannah Whitfield during last night's episode. Speaking after the result was announced, she said: "I can't believe it! I'm definitely proud of myself! "I think this deserves a pat on the back, because I did have some stiff competition." Like Heidi Klum said, "There can only be one winner of Project Runway," but on Thursday night's finale, Carol Hannah Whitfield, Irina Shabayeva and Althea Harper all showed impressive collections under the tents of Bryant Park. Carol Hannah's collection, which she said was based on "gothic architecture and fairy tales," earned points from judges Klum, Michael Kors (glad he could make it!), Nina Garcia and the delightful Susie Menkes, fashion editor for the International Herald Tribune. The impeccable tailoring, which was mixed with structured draping, and her use of difficult fabric were what struck the judges. They also praised her...

Every season, it all comes down to Bryant Park. Nine months after they marched their 13-look collections down the runway at Fall Fashion Week, Althea Harper, Irena Shabayeva and Carol Hannah Whitfield stood quaking before Heidi Klum & Co., waiting to hear who would be named the winner of Project Runway's much-delayed sixth season. Of course it looked as if time was going to run out, garments were going to go unfinished and each woman was going to float away on a river of tears (mixed with other fluids, in the virus-stricken Carol Hannah's case). But, wouldn't you know, all three ladies, competing in the second all-girl finale in a row, showed classy, polished and, for the most part,...

Tonight's Project Runway finale will be the show's first-ever battle of the babes...but only one bitch can be victorious. Take it from one seriously fierce winner. Season four champ Christian Siriano won't be watching tonight—he'll be at the taping of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show pimping his makeup line instead—but he admits he has some insider knowledge of whether Althea Harper, Irina Shabayeva or Carol Hannah Whitfield will take home season six's $100,000 prize. "I was at the show at Fashion Week so I already know what the collections are and what they look like. But I have an inside scoop," he told us Tuesday night at the American Eagle Times Square store...

The seven remaining contestants on Project Runway created a look that is inspired by a famous locale on this week's episode. Last week's winner Carol Hannah Whitfield says the competition gets more difficult with each passing week as contestants wonder "who's next?" "We're all looking at each other and picking out the stray sheep, and the wolves kind of start to circle," she describes. Christopher Straub refers to himself as an “underdog”, while Althea Harper sees "the possibilities as endless", as far as the limits she wants to push herself to. Klum tells the designers that they are heading out for a field trip to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. They meet Tim Gunn at Michael Kors's West Coast flagship store. He presents them with their next challenge, which involves a choice of locations. He advises the (more)...

The eight remaining designers on Project Runway worked to create an extravagant stage look for Christina Aguilera this week. Last week's winner Gordana Gehlhausen is the last contestant to be afforded immunity. Carol Hannah Whitfield, who hasn't won a challenge yet, thinks that her "slow and steady wins the race" approach will get her to Bryant Park. Klum informs the contestants that "it's time to take the competition to the next level", adding: "If you really want to shine, your look must upstage the rest." Gunn introduces famed designer Bob Mackie, on whose work the participants will be basing their looks. He tells them they need to "go for it", in terms of establishing a performer's presence, while Gunn then reveals the entertainer in question as Christina Aguilera. Nicolas Putvinski calls the task "by (more)...

The ten remaining contestants on Project Runway worked with two looks made out of blue material in Thursday's episode. Last week's bottom three designer Louise Black said that she would go "over the top" in her design to avoid "another snooze fest". Heidi Klum informed the designers that their "next challenge will be quite colourful". Tim Gunn introduced Martine Reardon from Macy's, who told them about how their blue-themed challenge could lead to one participant designing a Holiday dress for the store's Inc brand. Gunn then told the competitors that they would work in teams for the one-day contest, while they had fifteen minutes to sketch a design to pitch to Reardon. Five team captains would be chosen based upon their drawings, who would then pick teammates. Irina Shabayeva, Althea Harper, Carol Hannah Whitfield, (more)...
