Content Media has added another tile to its market roster, taking worldwide rights to Adam Rehmeier’s action feature Save A Bullet For Me.
The film takes place in the late 1800s as two wounded frontiersmen make a last stand against young Braves defending their homeland.
Rehmeier will direct from his screenplay. Casting is underway and principal photography is scheduled to begin in the third quarter.
“This is a visceral ride, stripped down to the most primal fight-or-flight level possible,” said Rehmeier.
“For me, this film is an opportunity to combine several of my favourite genres in an exciting way, to create something that hasn’t been seen before in the cinema – and to tell an important and balanced story about a very particular moment in the Us’s history. I’m hoping the wall-to-wall action, the authenticity and intense emotion will captivate audiences worldwide.”

Adam Rehmeier, director of controversial feature The Bunny Game, is preparing to shoot a “hardcore” Western with the exec producer of Robert Redford’s The Company You Keep.
Vancouver-based Brightlight Pictures (The Company You Keep) has teamed with UK producer Mark Sandell to co-produce the ‘Western’ action horror Save a Bullet For Me.
It marks the latest feature from writer-director Adam Rehmeier, who sparked controversy with torture film The Bunny Game in 2010.
Brightlight Pictures’ Shawn Williamson joins Mark Sandell (A Liar’s Autobiography) to produce.
Save a Bullet For Me is due to be shot in British Columbia in late 2014.
Set in the 19th century, the film focuses on the aftermath of a brutal massacre, where two wounded frontiersmen make a desperate last stand against a native American war party.
Rehmeier said: “This is not your grandfather’s Western. There are no heroes or morality tales. This is a visceral, animal of a film...

Described as a “cross-genre” film, Monster Project follows six teenagers who undergo a harrowing transformation into monsters, imbued with various abilities and ailments, and are forced to go on the run, fighting for their survival.
Movie Mogul Managing Director John Shackleton will write, direct and co-produce with the company's Director of Operations, Gareth I. Davies, and David Shillitoe; Mark Sandell executive produces.
Commenting on the film, Shackleton said: “Lurking beneath a hugely fantastical movie premise, anchored in reality, is a universal story surrounding a group of alienated teenagers. I’m hoping that this film will have a little something for everyone.”

Back in June Trinity announced that they had acquired the UK rights to Adam Rehmeier’s controversial film The Bunny Game and were set to release it through their new home entertainment label Trinity X early next year. Now that release will not happen thanks to a ban on the film by the BBFC who have denied it a release on the grounds that “the principal focus of The Bunny Game is the unremitting sexual and physical abuse of a helpless woman, as well as the sadistic and sexual pleasure the man derives from this.”
While BBFC director David Cooke added:
It is the Board’s carefully considered view that to issue a certificate to this work, even if confined to adults, would be inconsistent with the Board’s Guidelines, would risk potential harm within the terms of the Video Recordings Act, and would accordingly be unacceptable to the public.

Trinity announced today that they have acquired UK rights to Adam Rehmeier’s controversial low budget horror film The Bunny Game and plan to release it through their new home entertainment label Trinity X in early 2012. One fly in the ointment is the fact the movie has yet to be certified in the UK, and if this gets through with an anything less than an “18” (Nc-17) certificate, without a few snips here and there, we’d be very surprised. The Bunny Game, which has been described as ‘taking psychological and physical terror to new extremes’ centres around a drug-addicted prostitute, Bunny, played by Rodleen Getsic, who is kidnapped by a truck driver (Gregg Gilmore) and subjected to a harrowing series of sadistic and torturous ‘games’. Mark Sandell, co-director of Trinity Films, said today: “Although The Bunny Game is acquired viewing and deals with disturbing issues, it fits the Trinity X brand...

Adam Rehmeier's independent feature The Bunny Game has found a home in the UK with Trinity X acquiring UK rights for the nasty little film we've been talking about for over a year now.
Mark Sandell, co-director of Trinity Films, said today: "Although 'The Bunny Game' is acquired viewing and deals with disturbing issues, it fits the Trinity X brand perfectly in that it is distinctive and independent film-making at its best, with strong performances and a highly original filmic eye".
Directed by filmmaker Adam Rehmeier from a screenplay by Rodleen Getsic and Rehmeier, the film follows a prostitute (played by a gutsy Rodleen Getsic) looking for her next meal who hitches a ride with a trucker (Jeff Renfro) that leaves her praying for her next breath.

London-based distributor Trinity announced that they will be distributing A Liar’s Autobiography, a film based on the outlandish book by Monty Python’s Graham Chapman, who died in 1989, in UK cinemas in Spring 2012. They are also co-financiers of the production, which reunites members of the Monty Python team with the exception of Eric Idle.
Mark Sandell, co-director of Trinity and executive producer on ‘A Liar’s Autobiography’ said: “Trinity are immensely proud to be involved with this fantastic project, working not only alongside the Pythons, but also with Epix, Bill and Ben Productions and Brainstorm Media – to help bring the unique talents of this extraordinary man back to a global audience”.
