This will be hard to believe, but the truth is I seek neither understanding nor accolades regarding my work here and at Bleeding Cool. The bravado and swagger I write with is, more often than not, part of the attitude I’m trying to convey in the article. Frequently, that does not come through – what does is my seemingly “I could give a damn” attitude.
Once that becomes the takeaway from what I’ve written, admittedly I do enjoy throwing fuel on a fire. That is a dick move and it’s clear I can be a dick.
That’s not hard to believe.
There is a reason and a purpose behind everything I write and how I write it. It’s not just the rewards that come with it. One day I’ll write the “Why” of what I do, but today I’d like to give my little contribution to Black History Month.

Singer Michael Buble is generally pretty great, but this might just take the cake. The crooner showed up at the West 67th Street stop of the New York subway Thursday (April 25), giving people passing by a surprise performance.
He was joined by a capella group Naturally 7 for a performance of the Jackson 5's "Who's Lovin' You." When the song was done, Buble looked satisfied with the show, remarking, "That is the coolest thing ever, man." "Singing in the New York subway is something that's been done for years and years and years," he says, "and I think it's the most authentic, organic way to make music."
Buble has been promoting his newest album, "To Be Loved," around the world, but thinks it all pales compared to his subway performance. "Out of everything ... this is the thing I was most excited about," he says.

A cappella group Naturally 7 was on hand to join the 37-year-old dad-to-be at the Lincoln Center subway stop, as fans crowded around, smiling and pulling out their cell phones to capture the impromptu moment. "Singing in a New York subway is something that has been done for years and years and years, and I feel like it's the most authentic, organic way to make music," Bublé said following the performance. "You see some of the greatest...

"We're pleased to announce that, on Monday, Dec. 31, Coldplay will round off a memorable year by performing a very special co-headline show with Jay-z at Barclays Center, Brooklyn." Coldplay said in a statement on their website. "This will be the second time in two years that Coldplay has celebrated new year with long-term friend and collaborator Jay-z, the band having shared the bill with him at a Las Vegas concert in 2010.
