Born and raised in Canada in 1987, Jesse first began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of just 15 years old. Using the internet to turn a profit, Jesse began selling books and literature on different finance and stock personalities. Reading about people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, Jesse amassed a library that he purchased at a discount and then resold these books for a profit.
One year later at 16 years old, Jesse took the same model and transformed it into anew venture. As a software wholesaler, Jesse spent a single year selling computer software online and marketing it through platforms like Amazon Marketplace and Google AdWords. With eDirect, he promoted the benefits of basic programs like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and some Adobe products, and then began to prospect and negotiate with vendors throughout the world to find the best pricing. Throughout that single year, he achieved more than $40 million in sales.
Between 2007 and 2011, Jesse founded more than 22 different multimillion dollar supplement brands which generated more than $500 million in sales. Specializing in products like diet teas, acai berries, teeth whitening products, and more, Jesse used a similar model as his past businesses to grow and scale faster than he had prior.
In 2010, Jesse launched an online auction platform called Swipe Auctions. In these unique online auctions, auctioneers would charge an auction fee for anyone interested in participating in the auction. From there, standard auction rules would apply where the last participant to bid on an item would pay the final price and win the item. In a short time, Swipe Auctions generated more than $35 million in sales.
From 2012 to 2019, Jesse founded and ran Penguin Leads. Penguin Leads was a company with the goal of enhancing access to public information in an easy, affordable way. Essentially, the company served as an aggregate of public records, property records, and background check websites. The platform was a pay per use platform, where users interested in accessing the records listed through the various websites under Penguin Leads would be required to pay a fee, generating more than $20 million in sales.
Additionally in 2012, he launched a series of car history websites, where he developed a unique business model designed to make it easier for car owners to find out the history of their used cars through a single platform. Car History Group came to fruition as a collection of car history websites using a model that was quite similar to the one he used for Penguin Leads. The purpose of these websites was to make it easier for interested buyers and car owners to learn the history of their vehicles either before purchases or after purchases. Through Car History Group customers were able to search through VIN numbers, make and models, and year models to find public information related to their vehicle's history.
In the last several years, Jesse has begun to dedicate some of his free time to providing entrepreneurs with the support, resources, and strategies that they need to get their businesses off of the ground.
