Two of Twitter’s top executives are receiving harassment and abuse from far-right trolls as a result of having been singled out by new Twitter owner Elon Musk.
Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s legal, policy, and trust leader, has become the subject of invective on Twitter and on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram, following public criticism from Musk on the very platform he has just acquired for a reported 44 billion.

The Nft development startup Pixel Vault has closed a massive $100 million funding round.
Pixel Vault, best known for its Nft projects Punks Comic and Metahero Universe, signed with WME in October to bring these ventures into traditional mediums like film and TV. Techrunch reports that the funding round was led by Velvet Sea Ventures and Dick Costolo and Adam Bain's 01 Advisors.
Pixel Vault’s first Nft launch was Punks Comic, a series of digital and physical comic books featuring characters from CryptoPunks – another Nft project. Metahero Universe, its second launch, was inspired by the 16 main characters in the Punks Comic. Techcrunch reports that the Pixel Vault team has now tapped veteran comic book artists to create a collection of superhero NFTs with which the team is hoping to realize a broader entertainment universe, Techcrunch reports, in the vein of Marvel.

HBO’s satirical comedy “Silicon Valley” is known for its lampooning of the Northern California tech bubble and frequently drawing the ire of those in the industry. But the show can count one of the tech industry’s founding fathers as a fan.
“If you really want to understand how Silicon Valley works today, you should watch the HBO series ‘Silicon Valley,'” wrote Microsoft founder Bill Gates in a blog post on Monday. “The show is a parody, so it exaggerates things, but like all great parodies it captures a lot of truths.”
Gates said he helped consult with “Silicon Valley” writers for its most recent fifth season — the show has routinely sought input from industry players, including former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo — and argued that the show is pretty accurate, in both the industry’s triumphs and mistakes. “I have friends in Silicon Valley who refuse to watch...

Not all entrepreneurs and venture capitalists are thrilled with the idea of taking a meeting with President Trump. Take former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, for example, who likens the experience to getting drunk and “waterboard yourself.” When word got around that the White House was pulling together a meeting with Silicon Valley technology leaders to discuss emerging trends including commercial drones, the Internet of Things and the funding of those companies, Costolo took to Twitter to shed some light on such a gathering. “If you don’t get invited to this meeting and want to know what it was like,...
