Tim Roth is in talks to play political operative Henry Kissinger in Cannes package Kissinger Takes Paris.
Jeff Stanzler is set to direct from his own screenplay, billed as a satire with the announcement drawing comparisons to Wag the Dog. Robin Wright, Mary-Louise Parker, Lucy Hale, David Cross, Jimmy O. Yang, Rob Corddry and Dylan Penn are also in talks to star in the ensemble.

Feeling energized, he crashes the Paris Peace Talks and changes the course of modern history. A few weeks later, Henry returns to America as the second most powerful man in the world – and even more astonishingly…...

After the pair sneak off to hook up in the coat room, all signs point to an empty one-night stand. Instead, over the next 24 hours, they share stories of their most embarrassing sexual encounters, first loves, heartbreak and whirlwind romances, discovering each other through heartwarming, hilarious and sometimes tragic tales.
The pic sees Hale and Hutchings reunite following last year’s The Hating Game for Hulu, which starred Hale and Austin Stowell as two executive assistants forced to work together when their publishing companies are merged.

“Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale is set to reunite with “The Hating Game” director Peter Hutchings for romantic comedy “Which Brings Me to You.”
The film is an adaptation of Julianna Baggott and Steve Almond’s novel about a journalist and a photographer who, instead of a one-night stand, spend 24 hours sharing their romantic histories in the coat room at a friend’s wedding.
Hutchings will direct from a screenplay by Keith Bunin (“Onward”) with the film set to shoot this summer.
Hale will play Jane, a journalist, who finds herself ready to hook up with photographer Will during a wedding. Fiction Riot has launched Ficto, a subscription-based platform that delivers short-form premium programming designed to be consumed through mobile usage. Ficto launches with 20 series currently in production, available to consumers early next year. Fiction Riot will be meeting with content creators to secure and develop its second cohort of series to follow its consumer launch.
Three of its original series, based on upcoming feature films, will be released in advance of the theatrical releases: Can You Keep A Secret, the best-seller by Sophie Kinsella; Hush, Hush, based on Becca Fitzpatrick’s bestselling book series; and Project Extraction, an original Chinese production starring Jackie Chan and John Cena. Much more than a value add promotional tool for feature films and omni-channel properties, Ficto also opens up a new realm of original storytelling options that enable content creators to more quickly and cost-effectively bring new ideas, characters, and serialized shows to market.
