Ben Parker is a British director and screenwriter. His latest feature, WWII thriller 'Burial', was released by IFC Midnight and is about a Jewish Soviet intelligence officer tasked with trafficking Hitler's remains out of Berlin.
His debut feature, 'The Chamber', was a claustrophobic submarine thriller about a mission to retrieve a US drone from North Korean waters that goes horribly wrong, released theatrically by Studiocanal.
His grandmother was an actress and his Grandfather, Major 'Kip' Gilpin, was a technical advisor on The Dirty Dozen. Ben Carruthers' character in the movie was named 'Gilpin' after him.
Before becoming a director, Ben designed film posters, creating original artwork for films such as Pans Labyrinth, Memories of Murder, The Host, Killer Joe and The Devil's Candy.
