Updated with more signatories: Reaction continues to The Zone of Interest director Jonathan Glazer’s acceptance speech after his film won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film this month.
Some 1,215 Jewish show business professionals now have signed a letter denouncing the filmmaker’s speech, in which he decried the “dehumanization” of the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. See the updated full list below.
“We refute our Jewishness being hijacked for the purpose of drawing a moral equivalence between a Nazi regime that sought to exterminate a race of people, and an Israeli nation that seeks to avert its own extermination,” the letter states (read it in full in full below).
This list includes among its signatories Eli Roth and Amy Sherman-Palladino, Amy Pascal, Debra Messing, Gail Berman, Hawk Koch, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gary Barber, Lawrence Bender, Tovah Feldshuh and Rod Lurie.

U.K. sales and production company Film Constellation has scored a first slew of pre-sales at the European Film Market on upcoming English-language horror “The Twin” from “Lake Bodom” director Taneli Mustonen.
“Discovery of Witches” and “Lights Out” actor Teresa Palmer stars in the lead role of a young mother devastated by the violent death of one of their twins. “As the family sets out to rebuild their lives in the quiet Scandinavian countryside, they soon come to realize that some secrets are so evil, they need to be buried twice…”
“The Twin” has attracted strong distribution partners at script stage in multiple territories including Benelux (Dutch Filmworks); Cis (Nashe Kino); Mena (Falcon Films); Taiwan (Deepjoy Picture Corporation); Indonesia (Pt Prima); and Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Brunei (Suraya Filem).
AMC’s Shudder took rights to the film in North America, U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and Nordisk took Scandinavian rights ahead of the market.

Exclusive: Managers Ari Zudkewich and Jared Ceizler are joining Cavalry Media. The pair arrive at Cavalry after spending six years at Magnolia Entertainment.
Originally from New Jersey, Zudkewich started his career as an intern at ICM before joining the management company The Syndicate. Zudkewich then worked at the Gersh Agency and Brillstein Entertainment Partners before joining the Literary Department at Magnolia Entertainment.
