Gorilla Grodd’s coming back to The Flash next week. The intelligent ape has been a fixture of the show since its first season and now it’s time for his annual appearance. But these promo images for the episode, which sports the perfect title “Grodd Friended Me,” reveal that another familiar face from the Flash’s past will make a return, too, in the form of none other than the original Harrison Wells. At least, that’s how it looks.
What with Grodd being a CG creation, the simian supervillain isn’t showcased in these pics. Instead, they tease a confrontation between Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen and Wells. With his attire and glasses, this version of the character closely resembles the original Harrison from season 1, who – as we all know – was Reverse-Flash in disguise. That could be what’s happening here, as he does appear to be locking Barry up.

Fans mostly have their sights set on “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” but don’t forget that the various Arrowverse shows have got to hit their big midseason finales before the crossover event kicks off. For The Flash, in particular, the first half of its sixth season will conclude with a dramatic two-parter, titled “The Last Temptation of Barry Allen,” in which the Star Labs gang have to battle Bloodwork and his army. The opening hour is next week, but just to jump the gun, here are some spoiler-free pics from the second part.
Rather than revealing any shocking details about these episodes, the images showcase the various members of Team Flash as they come together to face whatever it is Bloodwork’s about to throw at them. And you can tell from their solemn expressions that things are going to get serious. In particular, our heroes appear to be staring at something pretty intimidating off-camera.

As “Crisis on Infinite Earths” draws nearer, we’ve seen Barry Allen become more accepting of his fated death in the coming crossover. I mean, it’s not like he wants to die, but he’s willing to heroically sacrifice himself so that his loved ones – and everyone in existence, for that matter – may go on living.
Given that, we’re about to start seeing Barry readying Cisco Ramon as new Team Flash leader. It’s kind of odd to do so now that Cisco has given up his Vibe powers, but I guess he can run tech support well enough while Killer Frost and Elongated Man do their thing in the field.
Further hinting at Cisco coming to the forefront are these newly released photos from The Flash episode 6×05, “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach.” For those who are current on news pertaining to the series, they already know this to...

As much as I’ve loved The Flash, it’s been well-documented that I didn’t really care for season 4. Still, that broadcast year did produce at least a few bright spots, one of them being Danny Trejo’s Breacher. Long story short, he was the interdimensional bounty hunter father of Gypsy, and had a knack for being a pain in the neck to her boyfriend, Cisco Ramon.
Considering how Cisco and Gypsy are no longer an item and the former has a new lady in his life, that doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t room for Breacher. With the coming Crisis looming, the Star Labs crew could certainly use a man of his talents.
Well, thanks to the official synopsis for episode 6×05, “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach,” we know exactly when Breacher will return:
Danny Trejo Guest Stars – Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) faith in his ability to fill Barry...

If you tuned in for the most recent episode of The Flash, then not only did you learn of the Negative Speed Force concept, but you also saw it utilized by Nora West-Allen. Not long after Eobard Thawne revealed its secrets to her, he came to regret his decision to do so because that very energy has now seemingly corrupted the young woman known as Xs.
Whether this development leads to Nora only temporarily going over to the dark side or ultimately sees her emerge as the Reverse-Flash’s successor remains to be seen, though my gut has me leaning toward the former option. Still, you never know what kind of surprises the producers have in store.
For now, though, she’s going to be a bad girl of sorts, as the Scarlet Speedster’s own daughter will be teaming up with the likes of Rag Doll, Weather Witch and...

Even though The Flash was forced to take this past Tuesday off due to it being Election Day in the United States, The CW are still keeping busy when it comes to promoting the Scarlet Speedster.
In fact, it wasn’t very long ago when we were treated a bounty of images taken from next week’s episode, “All Doll’d Up,” which’ll obviously feature the debut of the delightfully creepy Rag Doll. But, to our surprise, the network has already released pics from the adventure to follow, so let’s discuss that right now, shall we?
Gripping as the mystery surrounding Cicada may be, I’m sure a fair amount of you are dying to know more about the situation involving Caitlin Snow, the loss of her Killer Frost alter ego, and how she came to be. From the look of it, we’re going to be provided...

Even with The Flash and other Arrowverse shows having existed for several years now, there are still many more DC Comics villains for The CW to utilize. And to be more specific, we could see more possessing “cold powers” in the very near future.
It’s at this time we’ll ask you to recall how Caitlin Snow not only lost access to her Killer Frost alter ego last season, but also how she found out her metahuman abilities weren’t granted by the particle accelerator explosion a few years back. Instead, she’d somehow been living with them since childhood, the details of which remain sketchy.
Well, smart money says we’re going to learn a lot more in a matter of weeks, as the official synopsis for “The Icicle Cometh” is more telling than one would think:
Caitlin Learns Something New About Her Father — Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Barry...

In a matter of hours, the moment we’ve all been waiting for will arrive when Savitar’s true identity will be revealed on The Flash. And considering that the producers have been cruelly teasing us with the unmasking for the past few installments, it comes as a relief knowing that they’ll deliver. Well, when you title an episode “I Know Who You Are,” you’d certainly better.
During its young history, this series chronicling the adventures of the Scarlet Speedster has relied on having a mysterious masked man giving Barry Allen and his pals headaches, and the current season has continued the trend. But whereas the first two seasons revealed the identities of the Reverse-Flash and Zoom out of nowhere, Savitar’s big moment was blatantly advertised a week ahead of time. We’re not entirely sure the reason for the change, but it should guarantee at least...

In under two weeks, some of our favorite DC TV shows will return to airwaves with new episodes. So, as we continue the sprint toward their respective season finales, it’s only natural that official synopses for each surface well in advance. Given that, we’re able to peer into the future and discuss what’s to come in the first week of May for Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow.
Obviously, we’ll begin with Supergirl, since it’s the first to air. When examining the description, one can’t help but compare Alex being kidnapped by an unknown party to Kara having a price put on her head not long ago. And although Rhea is in this episode, I’m not so sure she’s responsible because this kind of has Cadmus’ stench on it. But, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Here’s the early word on “Alex,...
