As anyone who was raised by immigrant parents knows... Being the first generation born in America is a lot of pressure. Throw in family dysfunction, three brothers, and a Mexican mother from Juarez, and you have the perfect recipe for Bryan Torresdey's comedy. His parents divorced when he was young, so he found solace in these hard times with his babysitter - AKA reruns of Seinfeld. He realized that even though his family was going through tough times, they never stopped cracking jokes and laughing. That's when Bryan knew what wanted to do. The moment he finished school, he packed up all of his belongings into his check engine light edition VW and three tow truck hitches later he was out of Texas. Since arriving in New York City to pursue his comedic dreams, he's been selected as a finalist for the 2022 Kenan Thompson Ultimate Comedy Experience, received the "Audience Award" for his comedic writing for NBC's Ya Tu Sabes Monologue Slam, and just directed and starred in his award-winning series "Migrants". When he's not ready to throw his laptop out the window producing his latest project, he can be seen on Instagram where his comedic content has received tens of millions of views.
