Bernie grew up in Melbourne Australia. A western suburbs kid, who went to to boarding school at Geelong Grammar. Played tennis, football and athletics at a pretty high level. He attended RMIT and completed an Applied Science degree in Construction (project management)
Six years ago Bernie started working with Heidi Jo Markel at Eclectic Pictures.
He created and wrote his first script title 'White Tiger' aka 'Save the Cat'.
A film to be directed by Simon Wells.
He worked in development at the company for many years continuing to hone his writing and producing craft on Eclectic's large slate.
These included titles such as Lovelace, Septembers of Shiraz, Marathon, Dognapped and Fashionistas.
Also writing 'Miles of Glory' for a Spanish company Caniargo Films with Carlos Gari.
He returned to Australia and is co-writing and co-producing a film 'Belle Isle' with Kerry Armstrong. Along with another feature titled Weeping Woman -stealing of the Picasso.
