The Jaded Hearts Club – a supergroup featuring members of Muse, Blur, Jet, Last Shadow Puppets and the Zutons – unveiled a new rendition of the Marvin Gaye rarity, “This Love Starved Heart of Mine (It’s Killing Me).”
Gaye originally recorded the track in 1967, not long after his breakout hit “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” though “This Love Starved Heart of Mine” wouldn’t see release until 1994. The Jaded Hearts Club take the original’s stomping soul groove and crank it up several notches with grizzly riffs, prog-y synths and...

Near the close of Howard Hawks’ 1932 film Scarface, Paul Muni’s worn out hoodlum looked up to see a billboard for Cook’s Tours with a slogan that, with more than a dash of existential mockery, read: The World is Yours. Half a century later, in Brian De Palma’s great remake of the Hawks classic, Al Pacino stood similarly beleaguered outside his modernist mansion and saw those very same words scrawl across a passing blimp (Nas would solidify the phrase’s street cred in 1994 when he used it as the basis for the most anthemic track on his debut album). The somewhat comparably unlawful anti-hero of this new film (which takes those four words as its title) is not a whole lot like Muni or Pacino’s immigrant gangsters. Indeed, it’s not the world he’s after at all. He simply wishes to make enough dough from drug...

Activision and FreeStyleGames are continuing their commitment to add new material to Ghtv, the unique song streaming service that delivers downloadable content for last year’s Guitar Hero Live. The latest batch of songs added to Ghtv’s on-demand Premium Shows include familiar faces like The Strokes and Fall Out Boy, but the most notable addition is three songs by iconic British rock group Def Leppard. Longtime fans of the band can play their classic tune ‘Rock of Ages’, but ‘Let’s Go’ and ‘Dangerous’, two recent tracks from the group’s self-titled 2015 album, are also included, and as a bonus, Ghtv will be the first place fans can view the music video for ‘Dangerous’.

Miles Kane and Alex Turner are writing an 'X-Men style film' together.
Speaking about potential future Last Shadow Puppets material Kane told Digital Spy that the pair "always talk" about the group but are prioritising a film.
"It's something we always talk about y'know? But I think we're gonna write this film first anyway before we hit back into that," Kane revealed.
"It's gonna have a sort of X-Men kind of vibe and sort of set in the '60s, but I can't give anymore away than that."
The 'Rearrange' singer added that neither of the pair would have major acting roles in the film, although they could feature in production in some form.
"We're not planning to be [in the film] but we may have a little cameo."
Kane and Turner released The Age of the Understatement under the alias of The Last Shadow Puppets back in 2008, as a side project to...

Professor Green narrowly missed out on a coaching role on 'The Voice'. The 'Just Be Good to Green' rapper - who recently married 'Made In Chelsea' beauty Millie Mackintosh - was reportedly shortlisted for Danny O'Donoghue's former seat on the panel of the talent contest, but lost out to Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson because show bosses decided they needed someone more ''indie''. And it has also been claimed that Ricky - who joins Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and fellow show newcomer Kylie Minogue on the panel - wasn't even the first choice for the ''indie'' seat, Miles Kane was initially approached...
