The debutant actress Sharvari and Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi are a refreshingly new Bollywood on-screen Jodi (pair) that audiences will see in Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2. If it was not cool enough that they are being featured as a lead couple, they are acting in the entirely rebooted franchise, Bunty Aur Babli 2 which features Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan as the original Bunty and Babli.
This rib-tickling comedy will pit two sets of con artists, from different generations, against each other as they try to prove who is the better con couple. Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2, which is set to release worldwide on November 19, 2021, has been directed by Varun V. Sharma.
So for both Sharvari and Siddhant, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a film of many firsts. Including their first song titled ‘Luv Ju’. Let’s take you inside the song.

Siddhant Chaturvedi wowed everyone with his brilliant performance as Mc Sher in Gully Boy and he turns hero for the first time in Yash Raj Films’ much-awaited comedy Bunty Aur Babli 2. Siddhant plays the role of the new Bunty– a suave, smart conman from the big city. His mastery with disguises make him a chameleon in the real world and his acumen on the digital frontier makes him a slippery, master of digital heists that audiences will relish!
Siddhant’s Bunty is diametrically opposite to Saif Ali Khan’s Bunty avatar. While Siddhant is technologically forward and full of tact, Saif is sharp-witted but unaccustomed to how the digital boom has changed the art of conning people and made it extremely complex. This makes the big clash of Og Bunty and Babli against the new pairing deliciously riveting for audiences to enjoy.

Mumbai, March 2: Bollywood has seen a surge in slice-of-life entertainers in recent years. However, this year, many top filmmakers seem bullish about reloading the vintage larger-than-life formula that was a rage in the eighties and the nineties.
Although vintage masala never went away, Bollywood lately had been veering towards realism when it came to characters, plot and other entertainment factors. The rise of Ott, where realistic content seems to find a better audience than the big screen and the need for filmmakers to woo the audience back to the theatres seem to be reasons why many in Bollywood is going no-holds-barred with cinematic idiom this year.
Some of the big films that revisit vintage masala with new-age swag were scheduled to hit the screens last year but got postponed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. These mega entertainers are all riding high on star factor, heavy-duty dialogues, high-octane action sequences and,...

Indian studio Yash Raj Films’ “Bunty Aur Babli 2,” starring Saif Ali Khan (“Sacred Games”) and Rani Mukerji (“Hichki”) has wrapped production with the shooting of a song and dance routine.
The shoot, at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Films studios, adhered to the Indian government’s recently announced safety protocols that allow movies to restart production in the Covid-19 era.
The film was essentially complete, save the song, by March, when the spread of coronavirus halted production across the country.
“We shot this sequence in the pandemic and we were made to feel extremely comfortable on the sets because Yrf took all the necessary precautions before the shoot commenced,” said Mukerji.
“These are highly sensitive times and actors, producers, crew, everyone will have to be extra cautious because there is a risk element,” Khan said. “I was amazed by the steps taken to ensure that we have the best shooting experience.
