They also appeared in a live Q&a and autograph signing. See the photo, posted by D’Onofro on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who cannot provide writing services on set due to the strike, the new installment, Daredevil: Born Again, centers on Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, otherwise known as Matt Murdock, an attorney by day and crimefighter by night. The release of Red, White & Royal Blue has apparently prompted quite a bit of fanfare.
The romantic comedy, which is an adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s bestselling novel, launched on Prime Video on August 11 and has now become the No. 1 movie globally on Prime Video in its premiere weekend.
It is also now among Prime Video’s top three most-watched romantic comedies of all time, according to Amazon, which wouldn’t disclose the two other films Red, White & Royal Blue would be joining in the top three.
Amazon is also touting “a huge surge in new Prime membership signups” due to the film’s release. The company didn’t say how they determined this, though this generally measured as the title was the first one an account watched after subscribing to a streaming service.

Romance is getting the royal touch in the first trailer for the long-awaited adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s book “Red, White, & Royal Blue.”
The trailer certainly makes a point of laying out the various peaks and valleys of the plot, introducing Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman) and Britain’s Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine). After an international incident involving a wedding cake happens the two are forced to engage in a staged friendship. But the more time they spend together the pair realizes that what started as animosity is turning to love.
The bright, colorful tone, coupled with its adaptation bona fides makes it look akin to other Prime Video fare like “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” There’s also a healthy dose of 1953’s “Roman Holiday,” especially with this film’s emphasis on a royal deciding between love...

In the nearly two-minute first look, Alex Claremont-Diaz (Perez), the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman), and Britain’s Prince Henry (Galitzine) discover that despite having so much in common — stunning good looks, undeniable charisma, international popularity — they can’t quite escape their total disdain for one another.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently teased that a trans character is on the way to the McU. And while it was unclear at the time who he might be talking about, it seems we now have our answer.
According to the folks over at The Illuminerdi, the studio is currently casting for the role of Sera, who’s going to be Marvel’s first transgender hero and will apparently appear in Loki. But the character’s involvement in the McU won’t end there, as the role is said to be a major supporting part, with plans for Sera to show up in future Marvel movies as well.
Which films those may be, we can’t yet say, but Thor: Love and Thunder seems like the most logical choice here, given that we know it’ll be heavily tied to the events of Loki and we’ll also...

While attending a Q&a at the New York Film Academy, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige was asked whether he had any plans to increase Lgbt representation in the McU, particularly in terms of trans characters. Feige’s positive reply – “Yes, absolutely yes. And very soon.” – raised fans’ hopes that Marvel will be making a milestone move by giving us cinema’s first ever trans superhero in the near future. However, a new report is now casting doubt on this.
Variety writes that two separate sources close to the studio have informed the trade that Feige misspoke at this event, and he was only replying to the general question of Lgbt representation and not specifically teasing the imminent arrival of a prominent trans character in the franchise. While disappointing, this makes sense with Feige’s complete comment, in which he promised that the movie currently shooting will feature what fans are looking for.

Kevin Feige’s promised that the future of Marvel is dedicated to diversification and representation, and so far the plans for Phase 4 have reflected that. There’s clearly an increase in both female and non-white leads, for example, and we’re hearing that the next few years could also bring the McU‘s first ever transgender hero, who may appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Sources close to We Got This Covered – the same ones who told us a Nova movie was in active development, which McU Cosmic has now confirmed – say that Taika Waititi’s next Thor pic could include the character Sera, a trans hero who’s an angel from the Marvel comics universe. And the studio is supposedly eyeing Laverne Cox to play the part. We’ve been informed that the fan favorite Orange is the New Black star is one name on the wishlist for the role,...

“Spider-Man: Far From Home” marks a number of firsts for actor Zach Barack – it’s his first major movie role, his first red carpet premiere and his debut as the first out transgender actor to appear in a Marvel Studios film. Variety spoke to the newcomer over the phone as he prepared to watch the finished movie for the first time at the Hollywood premiere.

Jessica Jones has been an inclusive series when it comes to representation behind and in front of the camera. In its final season, the series hired transgender actress Aneesh Sheth, who plays Jessica's all-knowing and hilariously blunt new assistant Gillian, who's also low-key the singular voice of reason in the latest batch of episodes. Looking back at season two, the series worked with an all-female lineup of directors to helm its episodes. It's been known to feature characters of color in prominent roles - think Luke, Malcolm, and Pryce. We often see queer relationships on screen, especially with Jeri's complicated romances.
Sheth's casting is a great step for trans representation, but what's refreshing to the actress is that her trans identity isn't the focal point of her character. "I'm transgender and the character of Gillian is also trans," Sheth remarked in a Marvel article. "ut there is no mention of...

So here's how this works. We've compiled everything we can on our first run through these episodes, but we're bound to have missed a couple of Marvel references.

Trying to take down a former superhero with anger issues and quick fists is a fool’s errand… or maybe a Foolkiller’s?
The new trailer for Marvel’s Jessica Jones‘ final season certainly makes it seem that way, introducing Season 3’s big bad: a seriously messed-up individual identified as Gregory Salinger. (Fans of the comic on which the series is based will recognize Salinger as the alter ego of a villain known as Foolkiller.) The arrival of Salinger means that Jessica and Trish have to fix what’s wrong in their relationship in order to team up and defeat him.

Despite her heroics over two seasons — and the “Defenders” crossover — Jessica Jones is “not and never will be a hero.”
That’s according to the new bad guy Greg Salinger a.k.a. one of the names of the Marvel comics villain, Foolkiller, in the latest trailer released Thursday.

Now that all the Defenders have ventured off to cancellation pastures, Jessica Jones is looking to end her Marvel series on her own terms.
Krysten Ritter is back as the title heroine of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” a crimefighting force who’s had plenty of problems of her own over the run of the series. Staring down the events of the upcoming Season 3, she’ll have to find her way through a rocky set of interpersonal relationships, all while she tries to track down and eliminate the threat of one last enemy.
That foe might be one of the biggest forces they’ve faced so far. Jeremy Bobb joins the cast as Salinger, a brutal serial killer causing trouble at all levels of Jessica’s enterprise. Carrie-Anne Moss returns as Jeni Hogarth, Jessica’s ally on legal and investigative matters. Only this time, their relationship begins to fray when Jeni...

“Sometimes not even ‘heroes’ can save themselves.”
Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3. This will be the final Marvel show that we will see on Netflix. After this, all the new Marvel shows will be coming to Disney+ and Hulu.
I’ve actually enjoyed the Jessica Jones series. The previous seasons have been filled with solid writing and great character development. I’m happy that the show is getting one more season to close up the story. It was also announced that the series will premiere on June 14th, 2019.
In the trailer we see that Jessica will be facing a “highly intelligent psychopath” who calls her a “fraud” and a “cheater no longer.” It’s a brief teaser, but it gets the job done. Here’s the synopsis for Jessica Jones Season 3:

“Marvel’s Jessica Jones” only has 13 episodes left until it says goodbye to Netflix for good, and the streaming giant is kick-starting the final season’s marketing push with a cryptic date announcement and four brand new first look photos. The series is the final Marvel show that will air on Netflix now that the streaming giant has cancelled the series and its sister shows “Luke Cake,” “Iron Fist,” “The Punisher,” and “Daredevil.” The move proved heartbreaking for Netflix-Marvel fans, especially in the wake of “Daredevil’s” critically acclaimed third season.
Netflix’s official “Jessica Jones” Season 3 synopsis reads: “When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. Season 3 of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, the final 13 episodes of the Netflix superhero series, will begin streaming Friday, June 14. All episodes will be released globally on that date.
Netflix announced the return date Tuesday and released a teaser (see it below along with some first-look photos). The news comes after Jessica Jones and Marvel’s The Punisher were canceled in February, and the Jessica Jones run puts an end (for now?) to the ambitious relationship between Marvel and Netflix that started in 2013 with the announcement of four series that featured characters Luke Cage, Daredevil and The Defenders.

Even though Netflix has pulled the plug on Marvel, Jessica Jones season 3 will still happen, but it will be the final bow for the show.
The second season of Jessica Jones was a hit with critics. We praised the show for its willingness to step out of the shadow of its excellent first season, and how it shows genuine growth for Jessica, Trish Walker, Malcolm, Jeri Hogarth, and others. But the big question is: will Jessica Jones Season 3 happen?
Yes it will. This is good to know because Jessica Jones Season 3 was never a sure thing, as nothing should be taken for granted with any Netflix show, let alone a Marvel one. And things have been looking pretty bleak for the Marvel Netflix Universe in general, with cancelations cancelations of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and The Punisher. And, of course, they just axed Jessica...
