Steve McTigue was born on November 11th, 1963 in Merthyr Tydfil, South
Wales, UK. Steve came to acting after a distinguished military career
spanning some 25 years. Steve is a true character actor, playing such
diverse roles as Winston Churchill, King Edward VII to the other end of
the spectrum playing tramps and down and outs.
Steve's first TV appearance was in an episode of the UK lunchtime soap
'Doctors' back in 2000, since then he is a regular on British TV and
film.
Steve actually wanted to play the part of the 'Sniper' in the film 'Ante' because in real life he is a world class rifle marksman.
Steve McTigue (Faolon - The Wizard Dragon in the film Dragon Crusaders) spent a large part of his time on location wearing white contact lenses and had to be lead to and from the set deep inside a Welsh Slate Cavern because he couldn't see a thing.
