The third season of Vikings: Valhalla, which is set to air in 2024, will be its last.
The show, which was created by Jeb Stuart, is a sequel to the Michael Hirst-created Vikings. After its first season launched in February 2022, it was handed a two season renewal.
The drama begins in the early 11th century and chronicles the legendary adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived – Leif Eriksson, played by Sam Corlett, Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), Harald Hardrada (Leo Suter), and the Norman King William the Conqueror. These men and women will blaze a path as they fight for survival in the ever-changing and evolving world.

Nearly two years after Netflix announced Vikings: Valhalla, the steamer finally revealed first footage from the Vikings spinoff, showing off a teaser during its Tudum virtual event on Saturday, September 25. Fans of Norse culture rejoice because Netflix is investing in keeping the marauders from the north on our screens for the foreseeable future after news broke they had ordered a spin-off series to the hit show Vikings.
The spin-off, titled Vikings: Valhalla, will pick up 100 years after the original show and will follow the lives of brand-new characters to the Vikings universe, and it will probably give us a glimpse into the end of the ‘Viking’ era.
