Britain's Got Talent returns to our small screen on Saturday (April 12), and we've already been treated to a sneak peek at some of the acts we can expect to see on stage during the show's premiere.
But whatever happened to some of the show's most memorable acts from years gone by? What have they gone on to do following their appearance on the ITV talent show, we hear you ponder? Wonder no more with some of Bgt's past performers - from stand-out stars to the plain strange:
Faryl Smith
Mezzo-soprano Faryl Smith - then aged just 12 - blew the judges away and probably made Amanda Holden break down and blub with her beautiful rendition of 'Ava Maria' on the show in 2008.
Following her accomplishment as a finalist on the show, the singer signed a contract with Universal Classics and Jazz and released her debut album Faryl in March 2009. It went...

Jai McDowall Britain's Got Talent
Well there we have it folks. This year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent has come to an end and Jai McDowall has been crowned the worthy winner. He will perform on the Royal Variety Show later this year and walks away with the £100,000 prize money.
In the earlier show some people really stepped things up and brought their act to another level – think Ronan Parke, Jai McDowall and Razy Gogonea – but some performers let nerves get the better of them and really disappointed us with their below par performances. We were particularly let down by New Bounce’s song choice and Jean Martyn’s awful singing.
On the results show Ant and Dec took a slightly different approach as they announced the public’s decision and revealed their identities, in the order of how many votes they attracted. So starting with tenth place,...

Dancer Razy Gogonea and singer Michael Collings have secured the last places in tonight's (04.06.11) 'Britain's Got Talent' final. Last night's (03.06.11) last semi-final saw Romanian robotic dancer Razy was given the first slot after winning the public vote, while Michael was chosen by the judges over opera singer Pippa Langhorne and her singing dog Buddy. Usually-decisive Simon Cowell - who infamously loves animal acts - initially refused to choose between the two, saying: "I genuinely want them both in the final." However, despite praising Pippa and Buddy as "the most talented dog act in the world", he eventually chose Michael after...

Razy Gogonea and Michael Collings have made it through to the Britain's Got Talent grand final. Dancer Gogonea topped tonight's public vote, while 19-year-old singer Collings was put through by the judges ahead of human-canine double act Pip & Puppy. When asked to choose between his beloved singing dog duo and the Plymouth-born star, Simon Cowell repeatedly stated that he wanted both to advance to the final and refused to be drawn into naming one by hosts Ant & Dec. Finally, when the Geordie pair pushed him to make a choice, the 51-year-old reluctantly said: "I'm gonna go with the one I believe the public will want to see in and that is Michael." Cowell's co-judges Amanda Holden and Michal McIntyre quickly echoed his vote, with the comedian arguing: "I can't see a final without Michael in it." David (more)...
