Chetan Pathak(II)

Chetan Pathak is a Broadcast Journalist, Television Presenter, and Actor, born in London, England. He presents sport bulletins and programmes on BBC One Breakfast, on the Six O'Clock and Ten O'Clock News on BBC One, on the BBC News Channel and internationally on BBC World TV. Back in 2010, Chetan took a year away from the BBC after getting a scholarship to train at The Oxford School of Drama and is known for his acting work on Holby City (1999), Berlin Station (2016), Porters (2017), and Stella (2012). As a voiceover artist he narrates audiobooks for Amazon Audible and the RNIB. Chetan's parents, of Indian Gujarati origin, came to Britain from Uganda and ran a post office and shop. Chetan studied English Literature and Theatre at the University of Warwick and graduated with a first. He trained to be a Broadcast Journalist at City University and has worked extensively across BBC radio and television for over 15 years. Chetan has also worked for the Indian broadcaster Zee TV. Whilst there he hosted a live news and current affairs chat show, and presented a documentary series exploring his own spirituality and Hindu faith - as well as the festivals and practices of other religions.
