Phyllis Gordon is an actor based in New York City. Originally from the Berkshires in Massachusetts, she performs on stage and screen. Trained at William Esper Studio and Michael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston, she has played supporting roles in You Hurt My Feelings (opposite Julia Louis Dreyfus) and Ziwe. She received a Broadway World Best Actress Nomination for her work in Agatha Christie's "The Hollow" at the Cortland Repertory Theatre.
Her comedy background includes Standup and Improv (Chicago City Limits, Improv Boston, Upright Citizens Brigade).
She writes and performs Solo Shows: "Phyllis Diller Believes in Me" and "Em-Pathetic: When Healthcare Doesn't Care" (Winner, Best Short Solo at Marsh International Solo Festival).
A Voiceover artist, she has recorded Audiobooks for Audible and Library of Congress, and performed narration work on Frontline (PBS).
