Kesha is marking the one-year anniversary of Rainbow with a new behind-the-scenes documentary, which premieres on Apple Music on August 10th. In an exclusive clip from the film, Kesha navigates a surreal forest, which serves as a metaphor for the emotions she was going through at the time.
“When I wrote Rainbow, I was in a very dark place. I was alone, and I was scared,” she says in the clip. “And I was in rehab for an eating disorder that had gotten wildly out of control. They said I wasn’t allowed to work.

Many people suspect their homes are haunted, but so few people think that of their genitalia.
Ke$ha, however, is not most people.
In the Season 2 premiere of MTV's "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" on Wednesday, Oct. 30, she uses a ghost meter, which is akin to a Geiger counter for spirits. The device starts clicking as it is passed in front of her body.
"I am very much a believer of the supernatural," Ke$ha tells Zap2it. "I like to scare myself. I love scaring the p*** out of myself. If I have a choice of staying in a five-star hotel or a haunted s*** shack I would rather stay at the s*** shack and scare myself. We will drive five hours in the wrong direction to stay in the haunted hotel."
With that mindset, she asked her spiritual adviser why objects seemed to be moving on their own in her house,...

She’s at it again! Ke$ha debuted the season two trailer for her MTV reality series “My Crazy Beautiful Life” on Wednesday (September 25).
In the clip, the “Tik Tok” singer shows of her super colorful family including Pebe, her mother, Louie, her 14-year-old brother, Lagan and Kalan, her cousin and best friend.
Last season was well-received on the station and featured a number of eccentric events including Ke$ha chugging her own urine.
When chatting about the controversial event, the blondie told the Hollywood Reporter, “I'm also just one that doesn't shy away from things. I'm not good at saying no so I just figure, f--- it, I'll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn't recommend it. It was pretty gross. And I don't think it really did anything very beneficial to me so, yeah, I wouldn't probably do it again."

They’re both uber-popular pop singer these days, and Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus are each getting their own shows on the MTV network.
Given that her “Crazy Beautiful Life” documentary did so well, the “Your Love Is My Drug” songstress has been asked for a second season of action, consisting of six more episodes of madness.
This also means that Kesha’s brother Lagan Sebert will likely get more experience as a filmmaker given that he shot the footage for the first round during the past two years.
Meanwhile, Miley will film a one-hour special about prepping for her forthcoming album and making the transition from “Disney princess” to a fully-fledged sex symbol.

I missed the first episode of MTV's “Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life” last week but if the second episode, which aired Tuesday night is any indication, I missed nothing. As we catch up with Ke$ha in this six-episode “documentary” culled from footage shot by her brother Lagan Sebert over a two-year period, it’s June 2011. This immediately begs the question, “Why on earth would we care about seeing footage that’s two years old?” She’s headed to play at Glastonbury and she’s lost her voice, but even more trouble looms as one of her two tour buses breaks down en route to...

New York -- Ke$ha Kardashian? Not quite.
The wild and playful pop star is a huge fan of the swarm of Kardashian reality shows, but says her new series is far from what you see on the small screen from Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.
"I have a love for the Kardashians, I'm not going to lie to you," the 26-year-old said in a recent interview. "I love that show, but it's very different. I do not look as pretty as they do – like at all. During my show, there's a lot of moments with no makeup at all, like I'm in a T-shirt running around in my underwear."

It's one thing to be an uninhibited pop star who talks freely about getting wasted and hooking up with strangers, and then playing up that image in the media. But what's it like doing all that in front of your brother?
That's the situation with "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life," the MTV series premiering Tuesday, April 23, in which the singer behind such party anthems as "Tik Tok" and "Die Young," allowed her brother, journalist Lagan Sebert, to film pretty much her every move for two years. It's an all-access docu-series that captures her wild ride from potential one-hit wonder to bona fide pop sensation, replete with all the backstage antics and realities that Ke$ha hopes will show people what it's really like to be in the spotlight.

Ke$ha, the pop star best known for butchering spelling and looking like she rolled in a grease bath of glitter and melted crayons, is the subject of a new documentary series on MTV, filmed by her brother Lagan Sebert. With exceptionally energetic editing, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life chronicles the singer's exploits over two years, juxtaposing her "partying for a living" with quieter, emotional moments like, er, stalking her ex-boyfriend Harold. Ke$ha was everywhere in 2010 when her single "TiK ToK" catapulted her into the pop conscious, after which she enjoyed a run of six consecutive Top 10 singles.
