Could Invincible be getting more seasons on Prime Video? According to Skybound Republic, an investment/crowdfunding site that allows fans to invest in the label, more episodes of the ultra-violent comic book action series are coming. In a since-deleted portion of the webpage, the site said Invincible Season 3 is in production, while the show had been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5. The webpage promotes a video game set in the Invincible universe, which fans can help fund. The crowdfunded project sits at $442,700 as of this posting, with 14 days to go in the campaign.
A portion of the mission statement for the campaign describes why making a video based on a licensed property causes some problems:
“Most crowdfunded video games are centered around indie games, and retail investors rarely have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Aaa game publishers. Skybound is developing a highly produced, high-octane blood bath that is anything but indie.

The live-action world of Invincible is only getting bigger and better. The Invincible animated series recently wrapped up its second season, which continues to explore the conflict between Mark Gryason and the Viltrum Empire. The second season, similar to the comics, expands upon Omni-Man’s prophecy for his son, which predicts he will outlive most of his friends and family.
Omni-Man fights Mark Grayson in Invincible
However, in the comics, this prophecy is proven wrong by Mark’s love interest, Atom Eve. In the final issue of the comics, Atom Eve finally unlocks her true superpower, which had been hidden until this point. Her new superpower not only proves why she is considered one of the strongest beings in the universe, but also dismisses Omni-Man’s prophecy, and here is how.

The iconic 2021 Amazon series Invincible can be dialed down in simple terms, as a kid having daddy issues. Except, his father is a psycho superhero, and he is a superhero, and they are both Viltrumites. But yeah, that’s pretty much the most dialed-down gist of the series.
We’re kidding. Of course, the series has much more depth to it than stated above and has multiple characters with spectacular storylines. Regardless, as per this theory, Mark Grayson might not be able to beat all the Viltrumites, but there is another superhero who can!
J. K. Simmons’ Omni-Man and Steven Yeun’s Invincible Mark Grayson May Not Be Strong Enough For The Viltrumites!
So to sum up the story of Invincible, we might have to face some superhero traumas alongside some daddy issues. To start off, Omni-Man (voiced by J.K. Simmons) is an alien from the race Viltrumites. That’s why he’s so powerful.

Invincible ended its second season with a bang. In the classic Multiverse of Madness-style, there is an entire sequence where Mark is thrown from one universe to another, each having some or the other Easter egg. From Spider-Man showing up in the form of Agent Spider, who was fighting Prof. Ock, to Invincible making fun of Batman’s name on a rooftop, this part of the episode was fun, to say the least.

On top of these references, there was also a universe plagued with zombies, making a not-so-subtle nod to just how many people from The Walking Dead are a part of the series. One would assume that one of these three cameos would be favored by the show’s creator, Robert Kirkman. However, it would seem that something else had him a lot more excited; a split-second cameo of a gun.

Invincible is having a great run as an animated series, produced by Seth Rogen under Amazon Studios. The show recently wrapped up its second season, one that ended with a bang. However, there are a lot of things that had to change for the adaptation of the comic, specifically because of how many characters from other IPs it featured in its source material.
Invincible (2021-present)
While comics created under the Image Comics label are owned by their respective creators, the characters do share a world with other IPs, and often crossover with each other during major events. Given that an Invincible live-action film is in the works, it is completely possible that Invincible could kick off a shared Image Comics universe, that could bring to the screen a host of beloved characters.

Sometimes a fandom can get, let’s say, ahead of themselves. A certain rumor will take hold with only the flimsiest evidence to back it up and before you know it, every single character on WandaVision is Mephisto (our bad on that one).
At first glance, that appeared to be the case with the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s Invincible. Shortly before Invincible season 2 premiered in late 2023 (and then again in early 2024), fans of the series and the Robert Kirkman comic upon which it is based became convinced that none other than Spider-Man would be appearing in an upcoming episode. And in said fans’ defense, the evidence was actually pretty compelling.

Invincible‘s first season finale was a tough act to follow. Mark Grayson a.k.a. Invincible’s bloody battle with his own father Nolan a.k.a. Omni-Man is already the stuff of animated superhero TV (and meme) legend. Still the Invincible season 2 finale comes closer to recapturing the excitement than it has any right to.
After Mark got his ass handed to him by Nolan last time around, it’s finally his turn to do some ass-handing himself. Multiverse-hopper Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. And of course, there is some multiverse nonsense to enjoy as well. Here is how Invincible season 2 ends.

While the first season splattered the Invincible logo with blood as the episodes progressed, symbolizing the lies and the violence that Mark is going to face going forward, Season 2 sees the title crack and chip, revealing a black and blue version of it, which super-fans know does not bode well for the enemies of Invincible.

One of the biggest avenues of superhero entertainment might still be the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but one of the most popular and hyped-up has to go to Prime Video’s shows like Invincible and The Boys, which has captured the public eye and glued them to their platform.
At the moment, the animated series created by Robert Kirkman is getting a lot of love since it just restarted airing on the streaming platform after leaving the audience on a cliffhanger last year.
A still from Invincible
As per the original plan of the showrunner, this series would’ve gone on for at most eight seasons until its inevitable conclusion. But now, according to Kirkman’s comments, it seems like the show is set to go on for a lot longer than what was planned, which could bring ruin to it like what happened with his other show The Walking Dead.

Invincible Season 2 just dropped its seventh episode and the Amazon Prime Video series continues to be amazing and intriguing. Besides the stellar permanent cast of Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, and Sandra Oh playing the Grayson family, the series also has numerous guest stars both in seasons 1 and 2. Robert Kirkman earlier explained how he got the likes of Mark Hamill and Seth Rogen voicing different roles on his show.

Kirkman explained that rather than auditioning the actors for their roles, the series invited these prominent actors to voice different roles. Some of the cast were privy to voice work, while the others blindly trusted Kirkman and the Invincible team to join the series.

It appears Ezra Miller was quietly recast as mad scientist D.A. Sinclair in Season 2 of Prime Video’s Invincible.
Miller voiced the character in one episode in the first season of the adult animated series, but when Sinclair appeared in the March 28th episode, the character was voiced by Eric Bauza.
Deadline has reached out to Prime Video for comment.
Miller, embattled star of The Flash and Fantastic Beasts, has been embroiled in multiple scandals. Last year, they pleaded guilty to unlawful trespassing in a burglary case in Vermont after cutting a plea deal ahead of the hearing. In 2022, Miller agreed to mental health treatment after a string of run-ins with the law.

J.K. Simmons, the voice actor of Omni-Man in Robert Kirkman’s Prime Video animated superhero series, has announced his top pick for the role of the Viltrumite in the Invincible live-action movie that’s still under development.
Fans have continued to throw names into the mix of actors to embody the title character and his father in the film since the announcement of the big-screen adaptation in 2017.

And now, courtesy of Simmons, we have another potential candidate, who the 69-year-old believes would be a proper fit for Nolan Grayson. That someone is none other than X-Men star Hugh Jackman. With ample experience in the superhero genre and enough gravitas to qualify for the complex role, Jackman’s foray into the Invincible world wouldn’t seem far-fetched or unrealistic.
