Wednesday marked the finale of 'America's Got Talent,' which also marked the show's best episode. Tony Bennett sang with Queen Latifah, to promote his new CD, "Duets". Poplyfe redeemed themselves, performing with Stevie Wonder on one of his classics. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. seemed to be on cloud nine the entire night. Landau had the opportunity of a lifetime, to sing with his idol, Patti Labelle.

" America's Got Talent " crowned its season 6 champion Wednesday night. The prize: $1 million and a headlining act in Las Vegas. It's somewhat fitting that Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. won. The carwasher-turned-singer won over the audience with hits like Frank Sinatra 's classic " Fly Me to the Moon ." Like Sinatra, Murphy will make lots of fans, and money, on the Vegas Strip. Watch his winning moment below: Fan favorites Team iLuminate finished a surprising third. The innovative act combined dancing with light shows, and there was an audible gasp in the audience when their placement was read. Second place went to another dance troupe -- The Silhouettes -- whose talent is that they perform in shadows. Fourth went to pop group PopLyfe , who struggled in their final performance. The highlight of the evening came from an encore performance from 11-year-old opera singer Jackie Evancho , who delivered a dazzling performance of Nessun Dorma...

Cliché as it sounds, there were only winners on last night's 'America's Got Talent' Season 6 finale.
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., as judge Howie Mandel accurately predicted on Tuesday's performance show, won the competition and the show's $1 million prize. "I am the great predictor," Mandel quips.
Dance group Silhouettes came in second. Dance group Team iLuminate was third. Rock band Poplyfe came in fourth, but you'd never know it by the jubilation they were feeling after the show. The band members were still ecstatic over getting to perform with the legendary Stevie Wonder, an experience they'll take with them forever.
"I'll take it with me as well," Wonder told AOL TV on the post show press line. "They are a group that is committed to staying together and not letting anyone break them apart. I feel that's how we should be as a nation.

Who do you think takes the "America's Got Talent" prize? If our poll is any indication, it's going to be Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. We shall see.
There is some filler - Landau performs with Patti Labelle, which is awesome. Super awesome. Man, that lady can still blow the roof off, huh?
Team iLuminate performs with Cobra Starship and that's not quite as cool as Patti Labelle. Sorry Cobra Starship. Call us when Grace Slick joins you and you change your name to Cobra Airplane.
Silhouettes performs in the background while LeAnn Rimes sings. That's pretty great, I really like her voice, even if she's gotten a little crazypants lately.
Randomly, Queen Latifah and Tony Bennett are on hand to sing together. Huh. I mean, it's nice. but ... huh. Also, I always forget how good of a singer Queen Latifah is.
Poplyfe gets to perform with Stevie Wonder, which is...

With two British judges, every good act on America's Got Talent was bound to be "brilliant" at some point. But only one could win $1 million and a headlining show in Las Vegas, and that act was revealed on Wednesday's season finale. After thousands of people/groups/animals/weirdos, etc. auditioned and were eliminated week after week, it came down to Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., Team iLuminate, Silhouettes and Poplyfe, all of whose fates were in the voters' hands following last night's performance finale. Murphy can be glad he did it his way. The old-school crooner from West Virginia was named America's Favorite New Act tonight—and with the title comes the glory and...

After a two-hour season finale that easily felt like it lasted three or four, 'America's Got Talent' (Wed., 8Pm Et on NBC) crowned its Season 6 winner.
Would it be another solo singing act, which seems to have dominated the past several seasons, or would one of the unique dance groups rise to the top (sorry, Poplyfe, I've already ruled you out of contention)?
Before we found out, each of the final four acts got to perform a duet. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. perhaps surprised the most by switching up the style of song completely with a more uptempo jam with Patti Labelle.

NBC has announced more guests for tonight's America's Got Talent finale. Motown legends Stevie Wonder and Patti Labelle are among the performers who will feature on the conclusion to the talent contest, the network has confirmed. The Top 4 of "America's Got Talent" Season 6 took to the stage Tuesday night (Sept. 13) and gave some great performances. Poplyfe stumbled a bit, but they were still pretty solid, so we think the final vote is going to end up very close.
So who do you think is going to win? We think the Top 2 will come down to Team iLuminate and Silhouettes, technology vs. feel-good, though both dance acts. We had some commenters last night who thought we gave short shrift to Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., so perhaps he'll sneak in there.
The finale airs Wednesday night (Sept. 14) from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Et on NBC. Vote in our poll below - who do you think takes the crown this season?

America is going to have a tough time voting for their favorite act after a nearly flawless night of performances on Tuesday's America's Got Talent. The show's finals round - which featured routines by Season 6's remaining competitors: Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., Team iLuminate, Poplyfe and Silhouettes - even had typically hard-headed judge Piers Morgan raving that "everyone in the top four is a winner." The night began with another crowd-pleaser from season frontrunner Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. The car washer-turned-jazz musician's rendition of Frank Sinatra's classic tune "My Way" was "a $1 million performance," according to Morgan.
