The Liverpudlian said that he had been offered the chance to work alongside the show's official hairdresser Jamie Stevens if he fails to make it as a singer. Speaking at a Talk Talk secret gig, Collins said: "Jamie Stevens, the hairdresser from The X Factor, has told me that when I mess it up, I can always have a job with him on the show. "Making the cups of tea and washing hair. Hopefully I won't have to, but we'll see." Collins also revealed that his most embarrassing moment in the competition came when someone confused him with one of the other acts. "Being mistaken for Ashford from Nu Vibe, The Risk. The N-Dubz star said that the group were "devastated" by Ashley Baptiste's surprise departure and feared that the public would not accept Nu Vibe member Ashford Campbell as his replacement. Asked on The Xtra Factor for her thoughts on Baptiste's exit, she replied: "If I'm honest, I'm more worried about [The Risk] because it came as such a shock to the boys and they were devastated, they really were. "And they worried. They [thought] are the public going to look at us different? Are we still going to be seen as The Risk? Are people going to take us seriously now (more)...

"It's been a really tough decision but I have decided to leave The Risk," he declared. "I don't believe my future lies in a boyband and it's not fair on Charlie, Derry and Andy to remain in the band when I am not truly committed to it for the long term. "I believe The Risk can win The X Factor and I'm (more)...

X Factor judge Gary Barlow has admitted that he expected Frankie Cocozza to be in the bottom two after tonight's public vote. Cocozza, who was in the sing-off with Nu Vibe last week, was saved by viewers after his performance of Primal Scream's 'Rocks' yesterday. However, Barlow said on The Xtra Factor that tonight's bottom two - Kitty Brucknell and eliminee Sami Brookes - was a "big shock" for him. With only the group's mentor Tulisa Contostavlos voting to save the band - who were originally solo artists before being put together in the Boot Camp stage of the competition - over Frankie, the 18-year-old hunk made it through to next week's show. Nu Vibe have become the fifth act to be voted out of The X Factor 2011. The five-piece boyband were eliminated from the competition after finishing bottom of the series's first public vote with Frankie Cocozza. In a final sing-off for judges, Nu Vibe performed 'Promise This' by Cheryl Cole, while Cocozza selected Daniel Merriweather's 'Red' as his survival song. When host Dermot O'Leary came to the panel for their decision, Cocozza's mentor Gary Barlow first stated that he didn't believe his act deserved to be in the final two, saying: "Hopefully it's going to be a long time before you're singing a survivial song [again]." Following Barlow's vote to eliminate Nu Vibe, Kelly Rowland struggled to make her own choice, saying that she found it "so hard" (more)...

X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has insisted that a group could win the competition this year. Contostavlos is mentoring the four acts in the groups category - 2 Shoes, Nu Vibe, The Risk and Rhythmix - and claimed that they have a shot despite the struggles faced by previous bands on the show. "If there was ever a year it could happen," she said on The Xtra Factor. "I hope they've done enough and I can do enough for them that it could happen." Contostavlos claimed that The Risk are "strong" as a foursome, rather than being focused on member Charlie Healy. She also suggested that Rhythmix have a shot despite previous girl bands failing to do well on the show. "I think this year it's different, I honestly do," she said. "No girl group before brought what they (more)...
