Real Housewives of New York City alum Ramona Singer will no longer be attending BravoCon, sources confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday.
Singer was initially set to attend the event, which is being held in Las Vegas this weekend, Nov. 3-5. But her name has since disappeared from the BravoCon app.
This comes after allegations of racial statements and slurs resurfaced in a Vanity Fair story about Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise that was published on Monday. The story alleges that Singer had expressed racial hostility and used the N-word during a conversation with a Black crew member during production of season 13 of the show, though an ensuing investigation was found “inconclusive.” Still, the then-cast of The Real Housewives of New York City was dismissed for an entirely new crop, which debuted this past summer.

Ramona Singer, late of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City,” who will soon be seen on Peacock’s “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Rhony Legacy,” will no longer be attending BravoCon as of Tuesday afternoon — after she used a racial slur in a text exchange with a Page Six reporter.
The reporter was asking Singer about an allegation made in Vanity Fair’s recent investigative story about Bravo and “The Real Housewives” franchise — an assertion that Singer had used the N-word in front of a “Rhony” crew member, which caused an investigation. In the text exchange with Page Six, screenshotted in the story, Singer denied she’d said the N-word, but then abbreviated it.

The Real Housewives of New York City is back, baby! Rhony purists were skeptical when executive producer Andy Cohen insisted the reboot would harken back to the golden days of Rhony and he was proved right after the season 14 premiere.
During an interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Cohen said Rhony reboot questions were the top queries he’s received since announcing they planned to re-cast the series.
“The good news is it’s great. It’s a different show than the original Rhony,” Cohen insisted. “But it’s fun and it’s aspirational and fashionable and fun to watch and petty and everything that you love about the Housewives you’ll get from The Real Housewives of New York.”

"If you're looking for a real representation of New York, this is us," says real estate agent and native New Yorker Erin Lichy in the first five minutes of the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City. Season 14 of Bravo's long-running Housewives installment is a conscious rebirth for the show. After bottoming out with the waning years of original cast members Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps, and the disastrous (through no fault of her own) introduction of the show's first Black cast member in Eboni K. Williams, Bravo rebooted the entire cast. Erin is one of six brand new cast members who, beyond the fact that they look closer to a cross-section of NYC's multi-racial population, are hoping to bring some of the fun and intrigue into a series whose mood had gotten too dark to continue.

Jax Taylor is genuinely concerned about Tom Schwartz. During an exclusive Vanderpump Rules fan event, Taylor revealed that Schwartz definitely needs some time away from Tom Sandoval because Sandoval essentially “destroyed” Schwartz in the wake of Scandoval.

“I saw [Schwartz] on Father’s Day and I saw him the other day. He clearly said he is taking a break. And he said to me, too, he’s got to take a break mentally from Tom [Sandoval]. I mean, he’s destroyed that guy and that’s his business partner. If anything, he should have been loyal to him,” Taylor said during a FanRoom Live event.
Jax Taylor said Tom Schwartz’s problems extend far beyond Scandoval
Schwartz took a beating in the court of public opinion when the longtime affair was revealed between Sandoval and Raquel Leviss.

Saturday Night Live comedian Bowen Yang doesn’t see how referring to Raquel Leviss from Vanderpump Rules as Rachel as being a big burn.
Ever since the affair broke that Leviss was having an affair with her close friend Ariana Madix’s boyfriend Tom Sandoval, fans and the Vanderpump Rules cast have referred to Leviss by her legal name, Rachel, using it in a derogatory way. Leviss explained that she changed her name to Raquel in grade school when another student was also named Rachel.

Divorce is a messy business, but what happens to a couple’s joint assets when they split but aren’t married? That’s the case with Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval, the longtime Vanderpump Rules couple who split after Sandoval’s affair with a mutual friend. The couple never married, but built businesses together, bought a home – and Madix reportedly made at least $1 million in new gigs and merch post breakup.
Coined “Scandoval” Madix and other cast members quickly cashed in on what became one of the biggest scandals in reality TV history. And while Madix and Sandoval sort through and divide their assets, consider selling their $2 million home, what happens if one partner makes bank post-split? Is Madix’s new income considered community property and Sandoval can claim half?

Famed showrunner and executive producer Carlos King predicts massive shifts in the Real Housewives Bravoverse. He believes that if The Real Housewives of New Jersey is put on pause, it could mean curtains for Melissa Gorga.
King also isn’t vibing with the new version of The Real Housewives of New York City. He shared why the entirely new cast doesn’t work for him, but admitted that Rhony is executive producer Andy Cohen’s favorite show within the franchise.
‘Rhonj’ pause could mean Melissa Gorga won’t return
“In the history of Housewives, there have only been two pauses. New York City and Beverly Hills. New York isn’t even coming back with the same original cast There goes that example, right? Lisa Rinna, call it what you want. Dismissed. She left. Whatever,” he dished on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.

NBCU has officially shifted its “The Real Housewives of New York: Legacy” series to an “Ultimate Girls Trip” format that will stream on Peacock, featuring former Housewives Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Kristen Taekman as its cast.
After a low-rated 13th season and an influx of conflict, Variety broke the news that the “Rhony” would be revamping its format in a two-part strategy. First, Andy Cohen revealed that Bravo was focused on rebooting the flagship show with a brand-new cast, and the network would eventually launch a spin-off “Legacy” series that would cast original and former New York Housewives.
However, the network was unable to come to a financial agreement with several of the projected “Legacy” housewives and put the series on pause — which apparently led to a shift in strategy: revamping the series in an “Ultimate Girl Trips” style, not to air on Bravo,...

While CEOs often make cameos on the upfront stage in a bid to bolster the pitch to ad buyers, Byron Allen went a step beyond Wednesday by serving as emcee for his company’s lunchtime presentation.
Allen Media Group, which owns the Weather Channel, streaming service Local Now, multiplatform network TheGrio and local TV stations, hosted advertisers at a restaurant across from Radio City Music Hall. Allen, who got his start in stand-up comedy, offered frequently unfiltered commentary throughout the event.
Measurement, a familiar topic during upfront season, was one of Allen’s first targets. He derided Nielsen’s methods of counting viewers as “fraudulent,” noting he is in litigation against the company. Like many other ad sellers, Amg is pursuing complements to Nielsen and said it had reached a deal with VideoAmp for additional viewership insights.
TheGrio, which began as a digital brand but has expanded to more than 50 million U.

Eboni K. Williams is talking about her time on The Real Housewives of New York City and the aftermath of her appearance on the Bravo reality series.
The television personality joined the show in Season 13 as the first Black housewife in the show’s history. However, she would soon start clashing with her co-stars after some refused to have conversations about race and politics in America.
When making an appearance on The View to talk about her book Bet on Black, host Sunny Hostin said Williams came to the conclusion after her time on Rhony to not “let anyone make you their Black sidekick.”
Williams then said, “I was a little disruptive on the show, I don’t know if you’ve caught the memo.”
The lawyer said that she “insisted on centering Blackness throughout my season” and added, “My hope was that more of my castmates could’ve responded like Ms.

The NAACP Image Award-nominated film “Memory Builds the Monument” was acquired by Paramount for continuous airings on BET throughout Black History Month. The documentary short, which spotlights the vibrant community of Black artists in the Historic 5th Ward of Houston, Texas, will also be available for streaming on BET+ starting Feb. 1.
The 11-minute film centers around the Houston-based concert venue Club Matinee, which was founded in 1936 amid rampant segregation and racially-driven violence. The musical hotbed became known for hosting legends like Ray Charles, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, Louis Armstrong, Sam Cooke, Little Richard and B.B. King in the early stages of their careers. Simultaneously, director Isaac Yowman uses the short as a vehicle to explore the sociopolitical hardships faced by African Americans living in the South during the civil rights movement.
