Though I’ve yet to fully recover from Tieler’s elimination, I have to admit that the four designers remaining atop Thursday’s Project Runway: Junior finale deserved to be there — and the proof was in their (mostly) stunning collections.

If it were up to us, "Project Runway" would never be "out," it would just play on a loop 24/7/365.
Sadly, Season 14 will say auf wiedersehen on Thursday, November 5th, so now seems like a good time to take stock and rank the previous 13 seasons, with the expectation that the 2015 season will probably fall somewhere in the middle of the pack once it's done. (Tim Gunn "hated" Season 14, but there have been worse.) Every season of PR is a precious, unique little rhinestone, but, like the judges, we have our favorites -- and now it's Our turn to be biased.
So here's our very subjective but still definitive worst-to-best ranking, which may only be challenged by a glare from Nina Garcia, an eye roll from Michael Kors, a "make it work" from Tim Gunn, or an "out" from Heidi Klum.
13. Season 11 (aka 'Teams')Maybe it seemed like a good, or at least dramatic,...

Aaron Sorkin didn’t know how “The Newsroom” would end when he began writing the final season "For most of the time, I didn’t know how the show was going to end,” he says. "I would have small images of what I wanted to see. But the closer I got to the end of the season in terms of writing, the more I was able to see the end of the season finale. So, spoiler alert -- I spoke to the winner of "Project Runway All Stars," and I can only say so much before I have to reveal the gender, so let's just say don't click to the story if you don't want to know. Yes, Seth Aaron Henderson, the season 7 winner of "Project Runway" became the first designer to win a season of both shows. The Washington-based, self-taught designer beat out Korto Momolu and Elena Slivnyak on the final runway with a collection of color block, Spanish-inspired designs. The married dad gave me a call to talk about why he wanted...

"Project Runway All Stars" has crowned it's champion of fashion. After the three finalists, Seth Aaron, Elena and Korto, presented collections based on each of their heritages, there was a clear winner for the judges.
Before the designers got to show off their work, they were thrown a bit of a curve ball in the form of colorful scarves. Each had to use one as part of one of their designs, which worked to varying degrees of success. Seth Aaron had the most luck, weaving it into a dress design.
The judges had nice things to say to everyone, though there were also some issues that needed to be addressed. Elena had some definite fitting problems with her designs and, while the upper half of her work looked fantastic, the judges weren't too impressed by te lack of attention to detail on the bottom half.

Is it just me or has this short season of Project Runway All Stars actually seemed pretty long? Maybe it's Alyssa Milano's robotic hosting or maybe it's the lame challenges or maybe it's Seth Aaron's guy-liner. Anyway, I'm glad this mess will be wrapping up tonight. Let's hope Seth Aaron, Korto, and Elena's collections are less disappointing than this season.

A familiar face returns as the designers are challenged with another competition that features many twists and turns — but who will be in and who will be out?
Host Alyssa Milano introduces a familiar face to the designers: Nina Garcia of Marie Claire and Project Runway judge! Having recently become a part of editorial platform HallofStyle.com, Nina asks the contestants to pair up with a blogger featured on the website to showcase a trend for 2014. Several twists make up this challenge; not only will the bloggers be the designers’ models, but in the look they must incorporate Pantone’s color for 2014, radiant orchid. The winning look will be endorsed by Nina in a video that will appear on Hall of Style’s home page that will be viewed by the websites some fifty million subscribers. The winner will also receive a prize package from Pantone worth over $10,000! Not too shabby.

The designers are told they have the night off and are invited to spend their evening at Jay-z‘s hot club, 40/40. But their hopes of relaxing for one night are diminished when they are met by Alyssa Milano! Jeffrey jokes, “I know she’s not here to just chill with us.” Boy is he right. Alyssa tells them that the 40/40 club has a variety of signature cocktails, nine of which they will pick from and use as the inspiration for, (but of course!), the perfect cocktail dress. And this week the designers get a smaller budget of only $100. We can’t wait to see what the designers come up with!

In case there was any doubt that it's Fashion Week in New York, a glance around Lincoln Center reminds. Here, the usual skinny -- social X-rays who attend opera and ballet by night -- are replaced by the fashionista skinny, models who look as if they not had a good meal in, well, years.
Tourists line up, cameras poised. More proof that "Project Runway" remains a phenomenon in its 10th season is how hot this ticket is, how many layers of security even invited guests go through and how many fans wait outside, just for a glimpse.
The season finale is a fashion show, and at Fashion Week it takes on a patina. Inside the theater, the hosts and guest host, walk the runway to pose in front of banks of photographers. Judge and producer Heidi Klum rocks a draped, sequined, backless dress, and looks remarkable, even more so for a mother of four.
