The predictions that The X Factor judges made at Boot Camp have been revealed. The Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs revealed the acts that Tulisa Contostavlos, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger had predicted would go all the way in this year's competition. Walsh predicted that Ella Henderson would win the competition, and Scherzinger agreed following Henderson's rendition of Cher's 'Believe'. However, the former Pussycat Dolls star also wrote down James Arthur's name, meaning she is the only judge to rightly predict the winner of this year's series. Barlow chose Kye Sones, who became one (more)...

Eliminated X Factor contestant Kye Sones has admitted that he is baffled by fellow contestant Christopher Maloney's survival on the show, saying: "He's not my cup of tea." Sones was voted out of the ITV programme last night (November 4) following a sing-off with Rylan Clark, but while he "couldn't say a bad word" about the Essex-born star, he appeared to be irked by Maloney's contribution to the "bad stigma attached to the Overs" category.
"Rylan's got a place on the show," Sones told Digital Spy. "I couldn't say a bad word about him. "I don't think he'll win the show, but I think he's served his purpose. I think he's having fun and long may it continue. Good luck to him." Asked how far Maloney could go in The X Factor, he continued: "God knows. Who knows? (more)...

Kye's departure means Christopher Maloney is Gary's only remaining act. Speaking on 'The Xtra Factor', Gary said: ''It was horrible. The...

The 30-year-old singer performed 'I Won't Give Up' by Jason Mraz, while Clark sang a rendition of 'Kissing You' by Des'ree. Turning to the judges after their performances, presenter Dermot O'Leary asked each who they would like to keep in the competition. Nicole Scherzinger chose to save her mentee Clark, saying he brought "light and energy" to the show, while Gary Barlow chose to save his act Sones, saying it was a "simple" decision to make. Louis Walsh added it was an "amazing" sing-off, and that Rylan "proved [he] really can (more)...

Christopher Maloney has been dubbed this year's 'worst singer' in The X Factor, according to a study. An analysis of Saturday's (October 27) Halloween special live show has reportedly shown that Maloney made the most amount of flat notes during his performance of '(I Just) Died in Your Arms'. Maloney is said to have made 10 'bum notes' during his performance, while Rylan Clark, Kye Sones and Jahmene Douglas tied with eight 'bum notes' each. The study was commissioned by text answer service 63336, who used musicians with perfect pitch - the ability to identify a musical note without an external reference such as another voice or instrument. Helen Wright from the company said: "63336 used dedicated researchers to analyse each act, and found that Christopher Maloney really struggled the most (more)...

However, he insisted that he doesn't fancy anyone in the competition this year. The 30-year-old admitted: "I'm gutted there's no girl band this year. The girls are either 16, married or gay. MK1 have become the latest act to be eliminated from The X Factor this evening (October 21).
