Artist Abigail Jill Harding makes her longform writing debut with the limited comic book series Parliament of Rooks, "a gothic love story told in 5 chapters over the course of the four seasons—Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter—and culminating in an epic conclusion." The first issue of Parliament of Rooks debuts on November 14th from Amazon’s Comixology Originals, and we have all the details, along with an exclusive preview you can read right now!
Parliament of Rooks is a tale of dark fantasy, forbidden romance, menacing forces, and enchanting characters, inspired by the striking, gregarious, black-feathered bird, known as a rook.
"Parliament of Rooks is my homage to stories I grew up loving by fellow Brits like Neil Gaiman's Sandman and Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights,” says Abigail Jill Harding. "This is the first series I've written and drawn myself. It's very ambitious and I'm excited for people to read it.

The first trailer for Dark Phoenix has arrived, giving fans the first look at the presumed swan song for Fox's X-Men film franchise that launched in 2000 thanks to the pending Fox/Disney merger. The team at Heat Vision is taking a closer look at the trailer and what it all means and asks the big question: where are the outer space elements?
Graeme McMillan: If nothing else, the trailer for Dark Phoenix definitely wants you to believe that it’s playing for keeps. You don’t bring “The End” out for a movie that is intended to be just another chapter in ...

Miles Morales has swung into action like never before in the new trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a film that might be more like a comic book than any Spidey project before it. Let's take a closer look at some of the questions the film raises — like how many Spider-People can one movie handle?

The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has sparked quite a reaction online. Dinosaur enthusiasts are both cautiously optimistic that the sequel can live up to 2015's Jurassic World, which was so successful that it still stands as the No. 4 movie of all time worldwide. Others are feeling, well, less optimistic. The team at Heat Vision has assembled to take a closer look.
Graeme McMillan: I know this wasn’t meant to be my takeaway from the trailer, but opening on Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt fighting again just made me think, “Wow, you two shouldn’t be the primary romantic...

The first glimpse at Marvel Studios' biggest movie yet is nearly here. The Avengers: Infinity War trailer is dropping sometime on Wednesday, and pre-pandemonium has already ensued. Spider-Man actor Tom Holland caused a stir with a creative way to reveal the film's new poster, while a retrospective video showing fans reacting to old trailers is closing in on 500,000 views on YouTube in a matter of hours.
To keep that anticipation going, the team at Heat Vision is looking ahead to Wednesday's debut and what to expect.

Who knew that Deadpool 2 would kick off with an homage to ... Bob Ross?
It turns out that depending on who you ask, its either the most brilliant way to debut first footage, or if you aren't really sure who Ross is, it's a little confusing. Either way, who can complain about new Deadpool 2 footage? The Heat Vision team of Graeme McMillan, Ryan Parker and Aaron Couch take a closer look. But more importantly, Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza even dropped a line to share his two cents as well.

Warning: This story contains spoilers for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. (But given the headline, did we need to say that?)
Rogue One has Star Wars fans buzzing about its ending — and rightfully so. In a world of endless sequels and cinematic universes, it's a rarity to have all your protagonists perish, with no hopes of popping up in another installment (unless, of course, some of them find their way into the young Han Solo movie). Here, Heat Vision's Aaron Couch and Graeme McMillan break it down.

Also, in another case of mistaken identity Schmidt (Max Greenfield) pretends to be the son of someone who is very much in the news at the moment. Spoilers ahead.
