Simon Pilmer is a British composer born in Cambridge England, April 1987. Known for scoring music for feature films, trailers and television networks. Simon has had music broadcast on networks such as Bravo, Sony Video, Amazon Video, Hulu, Biography, Lifetime, Oxygen, Science, Web TV Network and many more across the globe including, UBC Brazil, SOCAN Canada, SACM Mexico, PRS United Kingdom, APRA Australia, AKM Austria, SCD Chile, Teosto Finland, JASRAC Japan and SUISA Switzerland.
Simon grew up in Cambridge, England where he studied Music Technology, Media and Music Production. After moving to the U.S he began his carrier composing for short film festival projects. After some success scoring feature films and various musical elements for film trailers he signed to 'CouldB Records/Entertainment' in L.A in 2011 and worked under the wing of the former vice president of 'MTV Networks' Ken Parks. He currently (2020) writes music for various television and cable networks, as well as composing custom scores for film production companies. He now lives in the UK and continues to compose for television projects. Simon specializes in custom music scores for a variety of entertainment properties including film, television, commercials, documentaries and festival projects.
