It’s nothing fresh, no mind boggler, but it purely works on the entertainment factor. The John Travolta starrer Cash Out is tropey in every way, and it still manages to not be boring at any point. Long past his prime, Travolta plays Mason Goddard, a swindler with a skilled crew carrying out heists. When a simple bank robbery goes haywire, Mason and his group must find their way out of it.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles premiere of Bob Marley: One Love was held at Westwood’s Regency Theater, where the theme of the night was the prolific star’s spirituality and how that commitment translated throughout his musical movement.
“You can’t separate the music and the message,” is a quote that Kingsley Ben-Adir, who plays Marley in One Love, can be heard saying in the trailer. The line serves as a reminder that Marley used reggae music as a way to promote peace, love and unity in his Jamaican culture and throughout the world.
“To get that line put into the film was really important,” the star told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet. “When you understand what Bob’s saying in his songs, he’s talking about God. He’s singing for God through him.”

To celebrate Christmas this year, The Killers have gifted fans with a new song titled “We Did It in the Name of Love.” For now, it’s only available via the band’s social media platforms.
“Santa’s got a brand new song in his bag,” the group wrote in the caption accompanying the track. “Merry Christmas!” Stream it below.
As The Killers’ subreddit points out, vocalist Brandon Flowers mentioned “We Did It in the Name of Love” in an interview with The Current published this past summer. Speaking about the song, he and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. explained how it was recorded at a little-used studio in the hills of Santa Cruz, California.
“I needed to be close to home at the time; my wife was going to give birth any minute, so we just decided to rent this studio that hadn’t been touched since 1977,” Vannucci Jr. recalled.

The satellite radio giant SiriusXM is planning an aggressive push for a larger slice of the streaming music space, launching a new version of its platform on mobile devices and in cars; lowering its subscription price; and debuting a slew of new channels and shows as it seeks greater market share among younger consumers.
Focusing on the “next generation” of subscribers is a focal point of SiriusXM’s strategy, the company’s CEO Jennifer Witz tells The Hollywood Reporter in an interview. A big part of that is shifting the company’s streaming strategy from being a complement to the in-car offering to something that is compelling in its own right.
“We have a lot of our consumers, our subscribers streaming today outside of the car, and the app was originally designed basically as a companion to what you have in the car,” Witz says. “This is really our first...

Southern Charm star Austen Kroll has opened up about reuniting with his ex, Olivia Flowers, after her brother, Conner, died back on January 30 at just 32 years old. Appearing on Thursday’s (November 2) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Kroll told host Andy Cohen, “It was very tough for me because I felt like I should be the one who is there for her, but I’ve obviously chosen not to be that person, and then this tragedy happens and I’m known to be an overthinker.” Kroll and Flowers had broken up in late 2022, months before Conner passed away. However, despite trying to keep his distance, Kroll explained it was the right thing to be there for her, especially as he, too, had lost a sibling. Kroll’s sister passed away when he was just seven years old. “I was like, ‘This is not that time to be the overthinker that you are,...

To say Taylor Ann Green has been embroiled in drama during season 9 of Southern Charm, would be an understatement. The cast member set off a firestorm of gossip when it came out she kissed her ex Shep Ross’ good friend Austen Kroll, who had also broken up with Green’s bestie Olivia Flowers. Ever since the episode of the revelation aired, Green has faced backlash from viewers for lying about the interaction before coming clean during a Ross’ pheasant dinner party. The twenty-something has owned up to her misteps, but forgiveness doesn’t come easy as seen in the reality series. And having it in the center of conversation within the friend group doesn’t make it any easier for her. Making matters worse, as seen in the October 19 episode, this all comes before Flowers finds out about her brother Connor passing away. Here Green speaks candidly about what has transpired this season.

Olivia Flowers mourned her late brother Connor on the latest episode of Bravo‘s Southern Charm, sharing his final words to her before tragically passing away in January earlier this year. Thursday’s (October 19) episode was filmed in January and featured the cast learning the news of Connor’s death at the age of 32. The cast came together to comfort Flowers, with Shep Rose, who lives next door to Flowers, offering up his home to her family so they could mourn together. Though the family has never revealed his cause of death, it has been reported that Connor had been battling Lyme disease. “One of the last things he said to me was, ‘You’re doing everything right. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be,’” Flowers said in a confessional. She added that she remembered her brother telling her, “I hope you can look at me and be proud of me…...

The season’s main storyline revolves around an alleged hookup between Kroll and his best friend Shep Rose’s ex-girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green. Messy.
But that bit of drama hasn’t even started yet. Instead, the season kicked off with Kroll attending the wedding party of his on-off ex-girlfriend, Madison LeCroy (you know,...

What a thrill it must be as an actor to be in a film that becomes a contender for the Academy Award for Best Picture. A few even develop such an impressive resume that they have seven, eight, nine, or more of these credits to their names. Who are the actors who have starred in the most number of Best Picture nominees?
Many of the performers on this list are not a surprise, with multi-Oscar-winners such as Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro, Cate Blanchett and Bette Davis making the cut. But there are also some fine character actors who appeared in hundreds of films over careers that spanned decades, including Henry Travers (Clarence the angel from “It’s a Wonderful Life) and Thomas Mitchell (Scarlett O’Hara’s dad from “Gone with the Wind”). Mitchell was such a sought-after actor, he appeared in five of the Best Picture nominees in 1940 and 1941. Two...

Taylor Swift broke multiple records, winning the top prize at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday.
The pop star took home video of the year for her song “Anti-Hero.” With this win, she became the first artist to ever score the VMA for video of the year two years in a row, as she won in 2022 for “All Too Well (10 minute version) (Taylor’s version) (from The Vault).”
She also extended her record as the most awarded artist in the video of the year category. She won in 2015 for “Bad Blood” and in 2019 for “You Need to Calm Down” as well. Since she also directed the music video for “Anti-Hero,” the win extended her record to three as the artist with the most video of the year awards for videos that she directed/co-directed.

Amazon’s Prime Video released the trailer for its television adaptation of Holly Ringland’s “The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart” on Wednesday. Starring Sigourney Weaver and Alycia Debnam-Carey, the limited series hails from the producers behind “Big Little Lies” and “Nine Perfect Strangers.”
The seven-episode show will tell the story of Alice Hart (Debnam-Carey) as she digs deep into the secrets of her family history at Thornfield flower farm, a refuge for traumatized women run by her grandmother June (Weaver). Alice goes to live there after losing her family in a tragic fire.
“When I was little, I used to dream about fire,” Debnam-Carey’s grownup version of Alice whispers at the beginning of the trailer before her younger counterpart (Alyla Browne) takes over. “Fire is an element that requires friction, fuel and oxygen. Then one day, everything went up in flames.”

Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus‘ 2017 collaboration “Rainbowland” got 86’d from a first-grade spring concert setlist after school district officials in Wisconsin deemed the track controversial.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the parent of a first grader in Waukesha, Wisconsin, was excited about the Parton-Cyrus collab, along with some of the other songs slated to be part of the spring concert, which included Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World and Kermit the Frog’s “Rainbow Connection” from The Muppet Movie.
As for why the track that celebrates acceptance was banned from the spring concert, one parent told The Times that “the school district of Waukesha has really cracked down on anything LGBTQ” and that “this song being an ‘issue’ has not in any way come as a surprise.”

There's a reason why Zendaya has become one of the most widely known actors of our time. Between her legendary roles as Rue on the award-winning show "Euphoria" and Mj in Marvel's Spider-Man franchise, the actor has not only won multiple Emmys but won the hearts of fans, too. Apart from acting, Zendaya has also been recognized for her avant-garde fashion sense, even taking home the Cfda Fashion Icon Award in 2021. All of these are valid reasons why Zendaya is the moment.
While she's active on social media and vocal about her advocacy for organizations like the Black Lives Matter movement, Zendaya rarely goes in depth about her personal life. With that being the case, you may be curious about the "Euphoria" star on an astrological level. That's why Popsugar previously spoke to a professional astrologer, Nautica Flowers, to discuss Zendaya's birth chart and how it plays a role in the actor's relationships,...
