Murray Gershenz, a Los Angeles record store owner who turned to acting late in life and appeared in The Hangover and other films and TV shows, died Wednesday of a heart attack. He was 91. Gershenz was the subject of Music Man Murray (2011), a 22-minute documentary directed by Richard Parks that showed the former opera singer and synagogue cantor struggling to find a buyer for the nearly half-million records he had collected and stored in a West Adams warehouse.
