- Amanda Chacon is a third generation Los Angeleno, and grew up in the "Heart of Screenland" -- Culver City, California.
Amanda comes from a family of performers. Her great grandfather, Bert Lindley, was a contract player at MGM in the 1920's and 1930's and appeared in dozens of films. Bert took all of his children to the set with him to play extras, including his daughter Audra Lindley, who is Amanda's great-aunt. Audra Lindley is best known for her role as Mrs. Roper on the 1970's TV shows "Three's Company" and "The Ropers." Ms. Lindley married James Whitmore and together they are the benefactors of The Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center in the NoHo Arts District in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County, California.
Although Amanda didn't catch the acting bug herself, she has been on the business side of the entertainment industry for over 20 years. Amanda started her career at MGM in the legal department, moved onto HBO and eventually landed at FremantleMedia as Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs. During her tenure at Fremantle, Amanda had the opportunity to counsel the contestants on the shows "American Idol," "America's Got Talent" and "The X Factor." Amanda enjoyed that experience so much that she decided to start her own talent agency, and Aspire Talent Agency was born.
As a talent agent, Amanda represents actors across-the-board. She represents both children and adults.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
